Possibly MSD's stubbornness to change. He was widely criticized by former players and TV experts on not selecting Ashwin for the last game, because of the win he got escaped from further criticism.

Now he wants to show those critics that he can still win the game with his poor team selection.

ATM, his decision to pick Sree ahead of Ashwin looks pathetic.

little bit of a comeback by SL now keeping wickets in hand.

interesting saurav is the only commentator who said SL's start isn't that bad. avg score 230 somehting easily gettable.

But Sreesanth has performed well on many occasions but his behavior is pathetic.

If SS is bowling bad, can't Dhoni just not bowl him anymore? He hasn't done TOO much damage yet.
 
Munaf is a perfect example of a medium pacer who makes it very difficult for the batsmen to score .... with his very accurate line and length..

His once in a blue moon performance does not warrants him a place in this Indian team. He is mentally weak boy. He might even start crying in the field if some more runs leaked from his bowling. Overall, he is a bad OMEN for us to win this cup.

Ashwin is a good bowler no doubt.. but I agree with Sreesanth selection (though I've never liked him). Sri Lankans are good players of spin .. plus the wicket has a good bounce to it.

He ain't mentally weak. he got slapped by bhajji. haha. Any one who gets a slap from a senior and being not able to do anything in front of Millions of people watching him, he certainly had to cry with no option left.
 
I admire SLs batting approach too. They know they didn't get off to a very good start.. but they also know they need to keep wickets in hand.. which is what they are doing. The importance of keeping wickets in hand for the first 25-30 overs.. cannot be overstressed.
