With cricket impacted because of COVID19 and ICC & BCCI losing huge monies. It looks like, BCCI would agree (and obviously get govt. nod) to have the India vs Pakistan series with the excuse of we want it because of WTC..

india don't give a Damn about englsnd tour. We don't train In county to prepare for them. You think india can't beat them if we actually prepared well like practicing in county matches ? india have a far busier schedule than any other team. They need to play a lot more games in all 3 formats and this will take a toll. Key players get far less rest because they put butts on seats. Recovery is crucial for tests.


pakistan played Sussex and worchestire for practice and then Ireland before challenging England in tests.

India don't have time to prepare via county practices. Far busier schedule so they have to get right to it.

What is ICC going to do? They cannot decide bilateral series nor do they get any penny from the bilateral series. New FTP is atleast 3 years away.

For there to be supply there must be demand. First, Pakistan has to somehow convince 1 billion Indians they really want a cricket series. Right now, most do not because of the BJP.

Seeing as the BJP will likely be in office for one more term after this one ends, it will likely take at least until 2029 which is the earliest that they can be replaced by another party.

Second, in the meanwhile, Pakistan must begin beating India in world tournaments. 2023 WC, 2027 WC and any Asia Cups in between. There is no point for India to go to the hassle of playing us if in their eyes it’s an easy whitewash.
