That catch was not so clear in my opinion...
You could see it from laxman's celebration...

I liked how they only showed one replay *BCCI face* :amin

I was surprised they showed even one!
Their was a clear problem here... I am quite sure no one is going to talk about it again...
Some years ago rashid was banned for exactly the same thing.

Over the years i've been hearing and reading a lot of stuff about the attacking Ozzy style test cricket. I think that was just a load of BS. Now that they're no more a great side, they've become so defensive.
Even more defensive than most of the other teams.
Pakistan could have done better today !

I know what you mean, 428, an attacking side would be at 900+ in the same position. Its not the rest of the worlds fault that retarded Indians think 1500+ runs in a test is a good test, just so you know the runs in cricket arnt like the ones that sends you to the toilet in India, in cricket they are not sure to happen every time!

Lmao

I have just worked out how to bring back real test cricket!

A bouncer has to be atleast double the height of the stumps, anything under that is fair game.
This gets rid of the midget batsmen and means bowlers dont have to change there action for the midgets!hehe

Aussie strategy on this tour, play defensive and boring cricket, hoping not to loose in the process waiting for India to make mistakes!
( did they have deep backward sqare leg from the first ball of a test match??? i can understand it for sehwag but also for gambhir??? what loosers!!! )

So your saying this is a flat easy to bat pitch and a defensive team can get 428 on it!
Get over your Indian self, India is the home of boring cricket! What do you want 500+ every innings in a test? What drugs are you on, its not a 5 day 20/20 match.

^^ must be hard for you to see a midget kicking your bowlers BüTT
he just hit 3 fours to your other opening bowler

They have Sehwag and Ghambir. We had Butt and Farhat. The difference at the top of the innings is so large it makes you want to cry.

flat track and

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I cant believe punter batted first, it had a bit of life for the first day and now its gone and might get a bit on the last day.
Yes these Indian flat tracks are so much harder than the Aus,Eng,NZ and SA pitches.
Whats the bet this is a draw!

^^ read my post again with a little of rationality left in your damaged aussie brain and you might get what i am trying to say!

and what are u trying to say here??? australia batted slow cause the pitch is difficult and also every team makes 500+ in india! what's your point here??? You dont make any friggin sense

Where is the bouncer strategy? :)))
Sehwag is simply spanking the Aussie bowlers

Jhonson was claiming to pepper sehwag with short balls , yet he is coming 1 down when score is already 50 in 10 overs with sehwag scoring run a ball.
I don't get ausi bowling plan.

No i see it the same as there is no big dancers, gymnasts or midgets. Flat tracks are made for midgets that can get under the ball with very little lift!
This is what you call boring test cricket, this will go to a draw.
Indian flat tracks are the worst for test cricket, they are so boring!

Sehwag is batting brilliantly but to be fair to austrlians bowlers you just can't ball a bouncer on this pitch...

how tall was bradman??? :ibutt

Its now a shocking bowlers pitch, there is no life to it at all. Punter messed up batting first, he should know buy now there dead pitches excepts the first day.
The ball is like bowling on astro turf. Sehwag doing a good job but the pitch is doing that more than he is.

Veeru 51 off 39 balls. Another failed strategy against him.

Your comparing a person in 2010 to someone in 1930, you do know the average height is many times more than 1930-40?
Like having the latest ferrari and saying how fast was the model T Ford! Haha, some people!

Yes failed playing on flat tracks, any place with a good pitch he would have had to work for the runs! Dont tell me you are that blind.

Thats absolute crap. There was no life in this pitch on day 1 either. The Aussies were just poor. Playing to take time out of the game and avoid defeat rather than go on the attack. If the Indians had batted first they would have got 400 in the day.

so you are trying to say a midget in 1930 is not a midget in the 2010??? :)) :)) i thought your just ignorant but you are stupid as well :ibutt

How can you bounce or do anything on a dead pitch. If this is not the worst pitch i have seen this year, i dont know what is. A frog could not bounce on this pitch.

Unless Aussies get sehwag out the India will be able to dictate a high pace of scoring and will eat into Aussies total very quickly!

You havent seen test cricket in Pakistan then in recent years:inti. By far the easiest tracks to bat on. At least Indian tracks can give some uneven bounce here and there and are always hard to bat on from 4th day onwards un like all day equally flat Pakistan pitches.

As if they didnt know,it doesnt bounce much here :P
Silly plan , absolutely hollow.
You dont beat batsmen by bounce here, spin and reverse swing is the key!

we need a big one from sehwag, at quick rate too to impose a result in this match

320+ most probably !

Finally I can see some competent batting against the Aussies. Watching the Pakistan series was torture.

Um your comparing an Indian to Bradmen in 1930, did India play test cricket then? lmao
I was saying the hieght of a batsmen should not matter, make it a bounce has to be not over the shoulder but bouble the height of the wicket, then the bowling action stays the same and it means a midget can duck and a tall person cops it in the chest if he does not move!
This would be much better for Indian flat tracks at the least as it would make it a bit mor intresting. Come on, 150km\h+ short deliveries will make it fun to watch.
You cant tell me this is not boring as bat crap to watch, a drawn test is a waste of everyones time.

As if they didnt know,it doesnt bounce much here :P

Is that like if the Indians had the CWG in 2016 it would have been perfect, or are Indians like yourself that retarded they can speculate on the size of the fish that they would catch when at home having never fished before.
Would of could of should of, i they didnt do it you have no idea, if they dont get 400 today on this dead wicket your going to look even more stupid!

Lol. The Pak series was x100 better.

i find this wicket a torture, even Pakistan would have batted well here.
just money making for television rights

Its a flat track, even the Aussies made 428 and had 5 down on the first day!

1.
Yes, the series was good but our batting was enough to cause a logistical nightmare for the local A & E.

2.
No, Pakistan would not have surpassed 300 on this pitch, we've had our fair share of batting-friendly wickets this summer, still no score worthy of mention as of yet.

3. Are you crazy? Even the Aussies! If must have been sarcasm, although a poor attempt at that.

one of the best players I've ever seen personally.

Looks like Johnson's tactic of bowling short of a length to Sehwag wasn't so bad after all.

I watched five test matches. Are you saying they were all subpar pitches?
Sub-par is quite an extreme term, so the answer to your question is no, there were no such pitches.

However as a combination, the overhead and pitch conditions made it one of the most difficult batting summers I have ever seen in England. Only Trott out of Oz, Pak and England players looked comfortable.

Overall, England and Australia hardly batted better than Pak, Pak just dropped a load of catches.

The game is nicely balanced so far. Day 3 should be intersting.
