^ ^^ Cowan has not been consistent. Hughes has been in good touch in Australia , but dissapointing again on this tour. Yep! Australian cricket is in a shambles!
 
Want to see a masterclass from David Warner. He's one man I've always had high hopes from since the first time I saw him play. Love his approach to the game, bold and aggressive. Watson is another guy I want to see succeed in Test cricket.

Definite innings defeat should of just let India waste another 20 overs now they have to bat 20 more overs to save the game
 
India should just declare now at 499-9 to match Clarke's declaration

Great observation! Blame the batsman for not walking when the 3rd umpire himself took around 4-5 minutes to finally make up his mind that there was a very faint noise when the ball went past the bat.

Brilliant!!!! And this lesson on honestly is coming from a fan whose team consisted of people like Salman Butt, Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir ..... :))

A full session & probably 33 to 35 overs for Aus to bat .... can we get 2 or 3 wickets in this session ?

If India can win by an innings here, they will carry forward a huge momentum into the next test.

He was exposed by hearth and dilshan in aus but I guess the selectors weren't watching
 
Good fightback by Oz bowlers today, with some help from the pitch. Unfortunately, that same pitch is now going to aid their downfall.

Wassup with Kohli and catches? He seems to be dropping them a lot over the last few series.
 
Hughes is an Ashes selection.

That will be the series that decides his career.

Watto heading home gives as a great excuse to bring in voges.
Also want Smith in the team.
 
TBH Bangla probably have a good chance of knocking this Aus side over at home.

Hughes has featured in two Ashes series and has effectively failed in both of them.

He seems a bit of a flat track bully, can't play the ball that moves - either spin or swing. That South African debut was a combination of beginner's luck and a fluke.

Much stronger side back then. Hussey, Harris, Ponting plus Watson who has probably been one of their best seamers on these sort of tracks bowling. This Aus side is a joke.
 
Plus SL wickets offer a lot more to seamers nowadays. Probably why even our HTBs are failing. SL were not serving up dust bowl after dust bowl like here.

Hussey and Harris. That's how. They were brilliant. Didn't play Mendis for that game so that was an epic fail as well.

Lyon got a 5fer as well, Hussey does make quite a difference I think.

Maybe but the way Harris bowled that series was just top class. Pattinson hardly bowled when it mattered in the first Test. Haven't really followed this match that closely so not sure what went on here.

Pattinson got a 5fer in the 1st Test, that's phenomenal returns for a pacer in India. Bowled 150+ with the new ball.

Yeah but Clarke kept holding him back. Plus no help from any one else. In SL Aus had Harris, Watson and MJ all doing quite well. In Tests you obviously have to hunt in packs otherwise an uphill battle.

Well he was the best Aus bowler in Aus's 2010 tour to India. Plus has a decent overall record in these conditions as well. So he seems to know what he's doing on these sort of tracks.
 
Why MJ hasn't got a game yet this series is beyond me. Was in good form with the ball and bat in Aus. Not sure how he will do if he's picked for the next one when Aus are already 2-0 down though. Probably not too well.

Game should be over tomorrow unless micheal clarke delays things by scoring a big hundred.
 
Dont think it will be easy for India tomorrow. Clarke, Watson, Henriques to score big. India may need to chase a tricky total. :sachin
