did the ball just roll on the pitch ...haha...this pitch will amke an excellent test match

Lucky break for us. Ishant will probably be better off bowling under arm in this pitch.

Ball bounces twice before reaching Dhoni! :))

Well Compton is gone.

About the debut of Joe Root, I would have played Morgan at 6 in this match. I am not big fan of Eoin, but considering India's spin attack, 2 left arm spinners, a leg spinner and one off spinner, a left hander batsman was more suited to the situation.

If England have any killer instinct. They should attack from the onset, defending in this pitch is asking for trouble. You are bound to get an unplayable ball so might aswel go down fighting.

Pleasantly surprised by English commentary in Star Cricket :)

@IndianPPers - Does anyone of you getting the same?

The pitch isn't looking that bad! Maybe hard to play your strokes on but, not at all unplayable!

Its seems like because of uneven bounce pacers might play a bigger role in first two days than spinners.

I think Sehwag will score big in this pitch, bowl doesn't bounce above knee :))

This pitch looks like it'll just be shooters nonstop in a few more sessions.

Lol at the bouncer, basically flies over the stumps barely.

This might be a wicket where you might get bowled if you duck!

I have found some really OTT comments herein this thread about this Nagpur pitch.

@Deus Ex Machina - That abandoned test had dangerous pitch which had much vicious bounce on good length balls whereas this one looks dead as dodo for pacers(on all lengths).

Meanwhile a possible howler from India's arch nemesis, dharmasena?
