we can't complain..we don't deserve to complain...we are the ones who are opposing DRS

God I hate the Indian commies. Sure that was a good shout, but it was probably Umpire's call

Tell me why? Why is a bouncy track any better than this pitch here... agree with the post about some OTT rections about Pitch.

Hard to score on, but not for any obvious skill on the bowler's part. If a ball keeps low and the batsman gets out, it's mainly due to luck.

So far not much of spin from Ojha, whereas surprisingly Ishant looked more threatening. Someone like Awana partnering Ishant could have been very handy for us here instead of too many spinners.

I can say the same about bouncy track? If the ball bounces and the batsman gets out, isn't it also lucky then? Or is it batsman's inability to play short/bouncy balls?

but extra bounce..ball seaming due to weather conditions...grass on the pitch is all bowlers skill ???

Sam: "How can this pitch be good for cricket? Only 1-2 balls carrying through in the 4th over from Ishant Sharma?! Pitches like this only strengthen the argument India takes T20 more seriously than test cricket...."

Cricinfo

Moving on, the pitch will stay same for both teams. Test of batting skills and i'm looking forward to another result. Go indiaaaa

Yey Cook gone

If the ball bounces, it means that the bowler is putting his back in it, or banging it in more to get it to bounce a certain amount. It's not bouncy if you don't try and make it bounce. you can still bowl a ball on a bouncy pitch that doesn't go too high.

And ouch, Cookie out.

COOOK GOOOOOOESS

GONE

This is massive blow for England!

Ishant spinning the ball really well! Better of the 2 spinners!

Well, I was told Dharmasena wasn't named number 1 umpire in the world without any reason!

What no indiand bowler can do, he can!

Yes alright but the pitch is gonna be the same for both teams like praveen says... lets see what happens. Indias strength is its batting so i dont see whats wrong in preparing a pitch to suit their needs...

Too much talk about how much india is trying to get a pitch that suits them this series, but the fact is every team gets a pitch that suit their need most of them at home games.

this is blasphemy..this is madness.......THIS ....IS........INDIA.......

Boooooo BCCI Boooooooooooo

This time it was given out when it was not out. The law of averages. DRS or no DRS.

Except we traded Trott's wicket for Cook's.

Poor decision from Dharma giving Trott not out and sending cook off wrongly . But KP batting :11:

Tell that to English curators. We get flat pitches everywhere, despite the fact that our bowlers feast on seaming conditions. Atmospheric swing makes it a decent contest.

Ishant never brings the ball back. What the feck ump is thinking.

Horrible pitch. I'm pretty sure ICC is preparing a warning letter.

Thats not a fact at all, the pitch suits the teams because they are used to the home conditions. Its only India left now who seem to think curator is 13th man. And umpire 14th man. And BCCI 15th man for every home game.

what we WANT????

DRS DRS DRS DRS DRS DRS DRS DRS DRS

when do we want it?????

NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW

Dharmasena evens out his previous howler(not giving Trott out) with yet another one with the wicket of Cook.

Always thought of him as a Very poor umpire and i m baffled to know that he won ICC award this year for best Umpire
