nothing for spinners so far,only for seamers,guess what-English have more
 
Expect Jimmy, Bressie to nip out a few wickets on this wicket and all of a sudden the whinging about bad ppithc wil die down. We saw the same whinging in the first test turned out to be a decent pitch. and wait till Eng also get a few shocking decisions in their favor. You wont hear the Eng fans blabbering about poor deicions but rather that "you dont use DDRS toucgh luck".

I think we have that right.

All poor decisions against India are India's fault for not having DRS. All against us are India's fault for denying us DRS. End of the day, it's India's denial giving you lot a bad time and us bad decisions.
 
Dhoni needs to bring Ishant back to the attack specially before lunch. I guess by persisting with spinners Dhoni is once again trying to justify the selections.
 
What was that game Pakistan v South Africa where Pakistan openers literally blocked the entire morning session? That was a fun cricket :yk:

What's wrong with Piyush Chawla.... the lads 23 and he looks like a 30 year old. How can he be so chubby?

Indians have a serious problem with keeping their cricketers fit. Raina, Chawla, Yuvraj are all slightly overweight.

Ganguly is suggesting that Cook was out and the ball was coming back in. It hit him outside off dada, kaunsa match dekh rahey ho?
 
Chawla will go for some runs , but he will get wickets , thats how leg spinners operates. Need to be patient with them.

Yea sometimes Ganguly is such a good pundit/commentator and calls it how he sees it but other times he is paid to do a job (BCCI).
 
People don't realize it I think but Ashwin is playing as a batsman and a part-time bowler while Jaddu's playing as the bowling all rounder.

I don't remember that but I do remember Butt blocking everything only to get out at the end of the session in England, don't know if it's vs England or Australia.
 
Pitch is far too slow. That should be not the case. The idea of a good pitch is to have balance. India should prepare pitches that do turn , but with bounce so that you get value for good shot.

Ganguly used to be different but I think he is getting in line with the star commentary "legends" such as Sunny, Manje, and Tracer bullet. WHo knows maybe a hidden power is involved #bcci #notsohidden :yk

The post about lowest first session scores reminded me of that game (Pak v South Africa). Years ago I wander over to the pub for dinner and awesome, Pak v South Africa was on. I watched the whole first session and they seriously blocked or left every ball :(

Yeah that's what I thought about Ganguly as well except that moment. Unlike Harshas, Ravis, Gavaskars, Sivas he always looks at a situation from both team's perspective.

dada has been critical of dhoni ...and against selections too...dont think he joined legendary status of sunny and ravi yet

sunny was defending bhajji and yuvi a couple of days back
 
Just saw Compton's shot lol. Genuinely poor.

Given that India had England 16/2, Dhoni's captaincy has been laughably defensive.
