KP's ton coming up in the last session IA.

If England somehow can get to 250+ they would be more than happy. Very difficult to score on this wicket.

No chance of England getting out under 200 with Prior still to come and Bresnan in the side.

Disappointing end. Can't complain about the innings though, scored over 50% of the runs.

Very lazy from peterson and he goes. This is turning bad. I know you should defend in test but this is ridiculous they are just wasting balls and not scoring at all.

By the way what is Ojha doing at mid wicket. Dont they have a more alive fielder (relatively speaking) for that position, which is critical for someone like KP
 
Nice knock ... if we can bowl out England for 225,we have a chance in the match .

Maybe now speed can be picked up. Man its one thing to play slow its another to not score runs at all.
 
On **** KP gone. All our guys threw their wickets away TBH, pressure of lack of runs got to them I guess. Thank god we are already 2-1 up in the series.
 
The ball is not spinning nor turning yet three wickets have fallen to spin and they all were batsmen faults.

Stupid comment. UAE, England were spun out.....here they are probably being "bored" out....

Not a single deserved wicket....all gifts. Good for India now, but if Cooks men decide to wake up in the 2nd innings, then how are the wickets going to come.

The ball seems to be stopping in the pitch. England will be in this, mark my words.
 
This is a very slow and low surface, India surely missed a trick by not playing another pacer here, run making is not going to be easy at all. England has won a very good toss and anything near 300 will be a very good first inning score.

India will need their batsmen to play a special inning here.
 
Root looks to be pretty well rooted......Playing as he should. Not getting bogged down like Bell or over aggressive.

2 more danger men.....Root and Prior, and then we are into the hit or miss brigade.
 
These guys should hang themselves if they allow Jadeja to strike them on their pads. He is hardly spinning the ball and there can be no excuse for not making a propert contact with the bat :nasser

Who could have played. Such surfaces need the skiddy kind of bowler who can get reverse swing. No one except Zaheer are like that, and Zaheer is just too lazy. He was good for us over the last half a dozen years, but he has gone and it is a good decision.

With 9 batsmen in team we are batting only once in this match :))
 
Indian tail starts at 6 with Dhoni. Could easily get bowled out on this.
 
8/74 overs to Ashwin......looks like a mini crisis there.

If he fails in his batting, he could well be on the line here.

India certainly is not spoilet for choices, are they? I guess the Awana guy is bit of a skiddy customer but tactical error their by Dhoni. India should also understand that this pitch will become increasingly unplayable with every passing session so they need to get england out quickly and try to get some sort of lead in the first inning, that's their only chance

Indeed, and that's always a risky proposition but, as one poster mentioned "What choice do they have"
between I like the look of Private "Root" decent against spinners

21st december i had forgotten about it. hum awaye younis khan kay inclusion mai ri rahay hai the continents will break the match wont happen. :)) :))
 
24 runs partnership now slow play is justified as there are less then 10 overs left and you want to play out the day without losing anymore wickets.

Seriously, Jadeja getting to claim Trott and KP as his first 2 wickets in Intl Cricket is a bit of a travesty.

I would have loved to give Awana a dekko, but really wasnt expecting a lot there. As for 4 spinners, what spinners. Everythings going on straight, mostly.
 
was the delay for already India have a large over rate but Ofcourse Dhoni wont be punished for that.
 
This is rated as a day 3 pitch due to the cracks. England having won the toss will always be in the game.
 
Bowling a bit loose deliberately to Prior might not be a bad idea. He will go for his shots and may mishit one......
