Trundler imo is anyone who clocks less than 140ks consistently.

130-139 - Medium pacer (trundler)
140-145 - Fast bowler
140-150 or over - genuine quick bowler

Some of you need to face 133km/h "trundelers" in nets. Lets see if you can even follow keep your eyes on it.

Wasn't Binny named in some match fixing report man if you have a father as a selector what not can happen.

By average pace:

Average 145-150 kph Genuine fast/Express
Average 140-145 kph Fast bowler
Average 135-139 kph Fast Medium bowlers
Average 130-135 kph Medium fast bowlers (Trundlers)
Average 125-130 kph Trundlers
Average less than 125 kph dibbly dobbly

Totally agree brother. It's nice to put the standards so high. I remember a time when 150 - 155 was express quick, we don't get to see it anymore.

What about the bowlers who are below 130 kph, Bhuvi, Kula, Binny etc at 120 - 130 kph, (spinning trundler) :shakib

When he is fully fit he bows in 140s, lower 140s especially in his first spell but he is rarely fully fit.

I have seen him bowling in 140s as well but most of the time I see him in 135-140 range. Anyway, bowling with control is far more useful than being a spray gun.

Standards shouldn't be lowered because we've lost 3-4 speedsters :moyo

Sounds about right. Few of his deliveries would go over 140 but mostly he remains between 135-140 kph unless he is in a very good rhythm then he will clock quite a few over 140. Your wrist position and your line and length is more important than the speed in modern cricket. Asif with his great seam position got more nip off the pitch then Sami ever did with 150 kph deliveries.

135-140 kph is not trundling in my opinion specially if bowler has ability to surprise you with a ball of 90 mph

I'll say from 135 to 145 kph you're fast medium over 145 is fast and then Over 150kph is extremely quick.

When the WC rolls around, and the same speed guns are used, some posters on here going to be a little surprised with Junaid Khan. Quick he is not. Irfan is quick.

Here come the cowlashers

I was going by average speeds a 145-150 kph average bowler would have few deliveries above 150 kph so he will be extremely quick

Irfan sure is quicker than Junaid but point of whole discussion was that Junaid does bowl around 138-140 kph average pace specially when pitches are friendly and that is not trundling

What ever they did to turn Finn into a trundler it seems to have worked wonders

He isn't quick he is borderline fast medium. If you believe anyone other then a quick is a trundler then yeah he is one.

India made harakiri on a pitch which is good enough for 270-280 total. Stepping out to fastbbowlers as if it is chennai  Rahane tried to be over aggressive , as if India is going to post 350. Ditto for Kohli. And posters here thinking this pitch is much bowling-friendly that what we have seen in tests  A sensible batting could have led us to 280 for sure

Guju kid gone. This is not Rajkot son. I feel sorry for his friend who comes on PP. He missed an exam to see Axar making his debut vs Bangladesh.

is it necessary that every bouncer should be pulled or hooked ?? even if its not in your zone ?

They tried everything on Finn and when they completely failed him they left him alone.

Even todays batting A/R's are capable of bowling at those speeds...

135-140 kph average speed bowlers are capable of crossing 90 mph with ease when they want specially if they belong to high 130s region

When all said and done they are the defending WC and champions trophy winner.

4 years of cricket matters as well. WC is a very prestigious tournament but it's one tournament, it doesn't automatically makes you the best team for 4 years. Said that I believe India is a top ODI side, not playing like one right now though.

Bhuvneshwar castled Indian 8 down

the decision to bat first was almost as foolish as batting first against SA in 2008 series on a green pitch(we were all out for 76 in 20 overs)
