Pitches are similar. You need to know that test cricket is all about survival, you don't need to score at brisk pace. But LOIs force you to go for runs rather than playing defensively. Big difference.

He is for now, but Tredwell is on a higher pedestal purely as a spinner, IMO. He has bowled well but looked flat at times, especially in ODIs.

I think its bounce because Thisara Perera and Damika Prasad bowled well in the last tri series. They both put a lot of effort with the ball. You have to be a good trundler. SL bowlers usually do well with Kookaburra ball because they use it in domestic cricket. Maybe that ?

Yeah right. Junaid averages 25 and bowls 140 ish consistently when he wants to. Irfan doesn't have the numbers but if you've seen him, you will know that he's quality.

Junaid is a trundler? He is comfortably faster than Boult and southee by good 2-4kph bowls around 138-140kph average speed in ODIs In tests Junaid bowls around 133-135 average which is still decent and he has average of around 25 in ODIs

Irfan is a very decent ODI bowler who is atleast in top 6-8 ODI bowlers atm

Advantage with binny is that, he plays for karnataka , and they play mostly on greentops (which can even turn vinay kumar into steyn). He stlll avrages 30 in ranji, despite playing in these green tops. So he can be effective with bat in these conditions.
