India always play like this, they are not England to go bang bang throughout, not do we have that kind of batsmen. Also India has learnt to trust it's bowling now

Playing different team - your Revolutionary is with the team .... and PAK played ZERO spinners against Aussies. Without Amir's heroics, PAK would have been chasing 370 that day.

Its still the real test of any Cricketer. It tests ability, patience, temperament, consistency and concentration for large amounts of time.
 
Pakistan is incredibly horrible.

They are lucky India doesn't play them in bilaterals otherwise they would have improved their record tremendously.
 
Pandya is coming at 4 for sure now. Well provided Pakistan manages to take a wicket. Carnage incoming. 350-370 definitely.

That's why I don't think we'll descend to the level of West Indies or Zimbabwe. However playing no regular home international cricket for 10 years and staging series in UAE is costly. Our broadcasting rights sell for nowhere near what the Big 3 sell their rights for. Even PSL so far has been losing money.

Not to mention money lost via mismanagement over the years.

Indeed but it's just like the 90s when they didn't play as many Tests against us.

Waqar, Wasim and Akhtar would have eaten them alive
 
Every news channel here in Pakistan showing takra (fighting) debate program. But in reality there is no takra between Pak and India on the field. India is far more professional and better team than us.
 
Kohli is still trying to get his timing right. I think he will drop anchor and try to go big in the end overs.

The fielding tells you a lot. After the first few overs, the fielding has been pretty good. We should give them a good fight at the very least.
 
All i heard was " If we run through top 3" One was already out, Its 36 overs, and Pakistan hasnt run through rest 2 yet. That is some big IF

Sometimes, you just have to appreciate brilliance. This Indian top 3 is legendary and we won’t see a combination like this for 2-3 decades. Enjoy it while it lasts, because nothing will last forever.

There was no sarcasm buddy. It is something that bothers me thats all. We would have bowlers retire and new bowlers replace them which were all at a decent level.

I used to love watching Pakistan bowl. Just good bowling and unsettling the batsmen ball after ball was enough for me. We used to still loose because of batting, usually chasing, but it used to be entertaining.

Now its just game after game watching this frustration.

I am glad I didn't spend a fortune going to this game (Old Trafford is my local stadium).

Our two bowlers with 2 warnings each have 4 overs to bowl and then 5th bowler has 3 overs remaining. We are in for some epic phanita.

wouldnt that be offbalanced by the fact that Pakistan is such a cheap country. Could probably pay your domestic cricketers a quarter what a county guy would get and they'd still live fairly comfortably no?
 
It seems like Pak players feel like they lost the match already. At least show some flair

Yes.

I understand the GOI doesnt want Pak to gain anything financially but its still their best chance to improve their record against Pak for once and all.
 
This is Imad Wasim's capability - 10 overs, 0-49.

Tidy and inexpensive but no wicket-taking threat whatsoever.
 
Morning when I saw Imad’s name in the selection I thought he is going to get the beating of his life from Kohli and Co. but I am actually impressed with his line and length!

Amir should also be told that he needs to strike with the new ball. No point in being economical if you don’t take wickets upfront.

Cheap 5-fers in the death overs mean nothing when the opposition is off to a great start.
 
It would be lucky to reach 330, 350 is out of question. Amir's spell against Australia is playing on India's mind.

Not sure about ethnicity, but he was born in Hyderabad (Deccan) and migrated to PAK after his under grad at Osmania University and if I am not wrong, his FC debut was in India. In short - zero input from PAK domestics for one of their best ever Captains - Indian domestics taught him fundamentals, Keith Fletcher's Kent made him a professional.
