Quite shameful surrender to be honest- did expect better than this. Man against boys - hope next time when BD plays, our minnows’ body language will make a better impression in PP (other way, won’t expose their roots .....)

Hafeez and Malik should have been out of team at least 3 years ago.

Malik averages 13 in England , how can he get selected ? Selection committee should be fired.

Pak cricket needs a revamp. Bring some new faces.
Like england they should set a template for the team and ask all the players to follow it and players should all play with a mindset of winning games for the team keeping all their individual achievements aside.
Focus on fitness and work on basics of the game. Whats the use of a fast bowler who cant present a nice seam position with the new ball??

Yes. Like the semi-final 2 years ago.

Don't know why you have to shove BD in everytime.

Didnt Hafeez played key role in beating England few days ago ?
 
Its just a game guys, teams all around the globe in every sport go through all sorts of ups and downs. Nothing is constant.

It’s really lame that you don’t say what’s really on your mind and instead resort to ambiguous language.

Anyways, my predictions for this match are going according to plan.

Pakistan simply do not have the skills or abilities to compete with India. It’s just that simple.
 
When the whole country said dont pick malik hassan ali they still persist with them they go against the prime minister and bowl first ... disgusting
 
These days India Pakistan matches are getting disappointing , most of them are becoming really one sided now
 
Jadeja yet to play a game in this WC but he already saved 50t runs in this WC... unfair to other teams..
 
One positive - whole management will leave after the WC and we will get a new captain.
 
Won two toss in a row and both times made blunders with team selection and trying to bowl first. You won against England batting first, should have continued the trend, it's an age old disease that we cannot chase unless our bowlers click and with current bowlers' form it was always going to be a big ask. Micky, Inzi, Hassan, Shoaib, Malik, Wahab, Fakhar are all done.
 
just asking.....why did pak selectors not select Mo Abbas..? he would be unplayable in eng swing condiitons...
 
Imad looking like the senior batsman here, looks like Sarfraz likes playing the support role to the tailenders.

I have taken an initiative that next time when BD plays, my stay in PP has to be much more comfortable, if not dignified at least respectful. This is just a little initiative- if things improve, I am definitely not interested to do a disgusting job.
 
Imad looks to be the most confident batsman from Pakistan side. He is playing better than Fakhar and Babar. May be the pressure of winning is over
 
Will be unlucky for India to win by D/L, they deserve the full time to take the 10th wicket and win in style.
 
Safraz is playing for close of the day? They have to keep attacking to keep the NRR in check. They need Hasan, Wahab to swing the bat.
 
I have supported Sarfraz on his worst days, but I can safely say that he is basically a burden on the team. Him coming in at 5 neither inspires any confidence nor any reliability. He is like a looming wicket about to fall any moment during pressure scenarios and too slow when the required run rate is high. Surely Rizwan can't be poorer than him.
Imam needs to be shown his "average" against top 6 teams and then be asked if he is an automatic selection or not.
Malik hopefully has played his last ODI for Pak. Atm i would open with hafeez and have Haris at 4.

Shankar Marshal, Hardik McGrath on fire. Hope Kohli don't go overboard with their bowling might and start counting on them as bowlers.
 
To be fair, worst decision from sarfraj to put India in. It looks the pitch started to slow down from the last 10 overs in Indian innings. Spin+slow bowlers are causing more damage than bumrah as one can see.

PAK will play 2023 WC - be direct or through qualifier (hope not), but they’ll be there.

This is the time to take tough call, for once, FGS. Instead of these Imad, MoHa, Fakhar, Malik, Sarfu ..... chop out everyone over 29 (officially), and start it from scratch. PCB should have done that on 19th July 2017 - but better late than never.
