No there should be no doubt about ash's quality of spin bowling in anyone's mind, and if we consider all formats i guess yasir is not even good enough to tie ash's shoe laces at this stage. And even in tests alone ash is way ahead than messi.

I don't think I've ever seen SA manhandled in a test series in this fashion in nearly a decade. Not since the days if mcwarne.

So much time and energy has been spent scrutinizing the pitches that not many have really given the Indian side the necessary praise it deserves for downright embarrassing the SAF team. Kudos to your team. :)

Thanks bro. To be fair I think it is the unwillingness to accept the fact that this is not the same SA of 2012 with Kallis,Smith,Steyn,Amla,AB,Philander all putting in brilliant performances. Except AB, all are either retired or in decline and SA are gonna struggle in their transition period. I certainly think they're a beatable team now and will be home track bullies just like the rest of us.

Jinks is a work horse not a crowd favorite with X factor , hope he gets craze among masses down the line

I love his simplicity. No fuss about him or the way he plays his cricket. I guess Kohli's aggressive nature and good looks make him a fan favorite. Needless to say, Kohli's a class player himself.

Yes,agreed. There really is no number 1 test team in my honest opinion. SAF were the #1 undisputed test team because they were able to hold their own on away tours, but they're in steep decline now which is understandable as they're in transition. That being said, I think the team which has a packed home schedule will probably find themselves at the #1 TEST position. In all likelihood, India should grab that #1 position, provided they win their home season tests. Off to a good start here though.

I think OZ will be no.1 from now. They are dominant at home, beat WI 2-0 away, competed well in ENG, won a series in SA and I suspect will do well in NZ as well.

Nice to see you on here. Hope all is well there in Chennai. Rough couple of days for you guys. Hoping all is well with sensible-indian-fan and that Chennai recovers quickly.

Thanks mate, good now nice to watch match after no power feels like a blessing somehow.

Rahane's contribution in slips also makes a lot of difference in SC all other Indian fielders are useless.

Ameer: "I'm sleeping in office already, when Amla scores a run wake me up."

Bhaskar: "You could use "amla" as a synonym. The batsmen amlas it back to the bowler."

Gaurav Kalra tweets: "this has been a captain's block from amla #IndvsSA"

That's what Pakistan fans say about Misbah too lol.

Wicket has turned slow and survival isn't too hard. Some epic tuk-tuk to come. :amla

I don't see the point of so much tuk-tuk when it's still only day 4. They shouldn't be scoring at less than 1 run an over. At least if they were going at 2 an over or something they would put a dent in the target and maybe tomorrow force India to be a little bit more defensive.

They actually did it, lol.

21.6
Ashwin to Amla, no run, tossed up on off stump, Amla amlas it to the man at silly point

Aye.. Do not underestimate the RR of 1.5!

Current partnership 31 runs, 26.0 overs, RR: 1.19 (Amla 6, Bavuma 25)

If these two make it to stumps unbeaten, then perhaps India will begin to worry, just a little bit.

Amla and Bavuma are in the nervous 90s, approaching their Cowan's

Not watching the match, but I hope Kohli is using an ultra-attacking field against Amla.

We should have just played Mishraji instead of *****. An extra bowling option and most likely would have scored more runs as well.

Ashwin lol doing everything he can.Wonder if the 1979 scorecards of drawn test match is going to come alive

Need to pick 3 more after tea but good patience from Amla n the other opener so far this innings
