Take a bow ABD! This is one of the finest rear guard defensive innings ever played. Whether SA manage to draw this or not, they've managed to salvage some pride here after the end of a long demoralising series.

Told you, its gonna end in a farce.

Yadav has evolved into a gun bowler, just look at the pace and tail in, much much potent and lethal than any Pakistani right handed fast bowlers.

This is the Umesh who rattled England in the 1st Test. He loves bowling in India.

Kohli showed confidence in yadav and he didn't disappoint him. Something which dhoni lacked while handling pacers.

Embarrassing performance to say the least, lol at people saying Saffers have managed to salvage some pride with their blockothorn, its actually quite the opposite. Will head back home in utter shame and disgrace and deservedly so.

Will you calm down for a minute ?

I somehow get the feeling that we will be bestowed with an another oscar performance stand up act (or should I say lie down act) from Tahir bhai at the climax here.

Pitch evolved from session 1 so much.

In session 1 it did literallly nothing.

But incredible batting by Amla and ABD.

Its also the batting n bowling.Amla and AB were great where Jaddu was getting something.Ashwin improved and now its looking much better overall with lesser batsmen

Some people may say shame and disgrace, others might say they have salvaged some pride by nearly batting out two days for a draw.

Don't know about abroad, but Shami + Yadav + Ishant is the best pace trio for Asian conditions.

Waqar Yadav has been a revelation with the reverse swing

Nooooohhh Never seen Kumble hurt or talk bad about anyone! The dude is humble like other Karnataka players.

He is monotonous. There are a lot of monotonous commies around and they can be boring to hear eventhough they may offer some good insight. Chapelli is one too but I love hearing him, don't know why.

Should have been brave like Pakistan or Australia and been bowled out for 94 in 17.3 overs. A truly heroic batting performance which would have given everybody a day and a half of extra rest.

lol...Appreciate the delivery but don't bring Pakistan into it.

Just stating the truth, Pakistani fans always whine about India's lack of quality pacer, well time for them to hold their heads down in shame, this is the epitome of fast bowling and reverse swing from Yadav, something Pakistani bowlers won't be able to replicate even in England.

Brilliant display of reverse swing here.
Wahab was doing the same against England but lacked wicket-taking deliveries.
Probably because of his wrist position.

Say what you will but Ashwin's 5 wicket haul here is probably one of the best considering the approach from SA

oh..gotcha.
This explains your anti-amir posts.
Such insecurity.

Yeah but i hate the extra showshay bazzi kind don't know i prefer Doordarshan over ABP news.

Jaddu was superior in session 1 (even the whole day we can make a case though Yadav was a beast later on) but even he was ONLY getting that odd one to trouble in session 1.

The same batting post lunch when the pitch spun in patches didn't look so much at ease. The same good length in certain patches did a lot more and gave the illusion bowlers were bowling better when they were bowling the same.

Ashwin might have got a fifer but it was Yadavs spell that killed all resistance. Pace and swing! Well done boys and commiserations Saffers.

Does someone put a penny in a jar everytime you make a stupid remark?

Lol, I thought this match was a dead set draw half an hour before. Take a bow malcolm yadav :akhtar

We should replay the Bangalore Test in a non-rainy venue (Bangalore itself is non-rainy now) :)

+10000

One of the rare cases where the fifer guy wasn't the best bowler in show.

It was Jaddu who pegged away and Yadav which really blew away Saffers. Ash was good but these guys were better.

A complete bowling performance.

I defended these guys even during session 1. Thought this test could very well be draw at that time as pitch won't help us at all but it did in patches later on and Yadav chose to have a great spell. ;-)

Wahab is highly overrated and extremely inconsistent, Yadav reminded me of Steyn in 2nd Test against Australia where he ripped through Australian batting lineup single handedly with his reverse swing, Yadav looked extremely deadly like him in this session, his every delivery was wicket taking, something that'll make Waqar proud.

Agreed. Jaddu was very crucial to this win as well. Only the legend Ishant went missing :(

Yes.
He is over-rated for sure.
Hopefully, Amir fills the gap. Haven't seen him reverse, though, which is strange but it will be exciting to see how he controls it, if gets some reverse swing on offer.

SA showed real application and grit in the last two days. They will feel a little better heading home to face England eventhough they've lost the series.

Predicted yesterday Amla and Co are just delaying the inevitable, there is no way you can approach a target with mentality of draw with 150+ overs left in the game. It was dead set, as sooner Amla and AB fell, game was there for the taking.

Would take Aaron ahead of Ishant in typical SC conditions

Ishant has started bowling with a lot of venom lately. But you are right in a way that if Aaron starts getting reverse at his pace, he will prove to be a lethal weapon. Kind of control he has shown recently is also quite encouraging.

Irony is that is the most watched news show on indian television. .don't know how people bear arnab dada

It caters to the Indian mindset of blow the question out of proportion in loud volume and never take any action on it.Similar to the daily fight that happens on Indian streets where they argue with each other instead of paying up the damages like other countries..

Can't believe you are actually giving him your analysis.
