Very nice gesture from one of the most ardent crictics on this forum.. Farewell Sachin :(

The pitch is spinning like a top and Shillingford is a very good spinner.

Hope he doesn't run through the Indian batting.

As expected , WI have dropped a bowler & played Deonaraine & now Sammy is their 4th bowler & will bat at 8 . Poor defensive move in my opinion .

How hilarious it would be if sachin scores a 100 and India loses and debates start whether Sachin is a match winner or not lol

If you're in the US and have Dish...they're showing this match in HD on Channel 9997

Bhuvanesh should have got at least 2-3 wickets here.. Bowled beautifully

There are stats , stats and then there is Tendulkar.

I guess his real value lies in motivating a whole country of kids to pick up a bat and emulate his greatness.

Critics will question his skills, his talent, his dedication, his match winning ability, but leaving all biases aside, this guy is a true champion.

He gave it to India, day after day , time after time , and even I can't help but feel sad at the end of an era. I thought it would never end.

With a beautiful technique and strokeplay he captivated the minds of millions of people on the planet.

The very fact that they are countless threads trying to denigrate his achievements is a clear indicator that even haters seem to put their time and effort for this brilliant guy.

In basketball, there is Kareem Abdul Jabbar, in Golf Jack Nikclaus, In the Tour Eddy Merckx. But none of them can perhaps claim of single handedly inspiring a generation of people after them.

In cricket, Tendulkar reigns supreme. You may argue all you like, but the guy gave his heart and soul to cricket and Team India.

The Cricket World will be poorer without him.

Wow!! top post this!!...respect

Shami from other end bowling the 2nd over of session . he has bowled well here too .

samuels taking the attack to shami after being made to look like a tailender with those beautiful outswingers.

No one can be great unless you give them opportunity , the game must move on. You need to drop non performing players , other wise it gives out wrong signals.

hes hardly non-performing by their standards.averaging 40 this year,53 last year.very decent

Bhuvanesh would relish the South African mambas. He would get good bounce and carry

BCCI kind of deserve this, it's a shame but 2 matches and 6 days for Sachin.

This WI batting lineup may well be as awful as the Pakistan one. Maybe not as bad, but still comparable.

India will probably only bat once now here so looks like Sachin will make one final inns for India, hope it is a good one!

Wow. I wonder how the great west indian quicks would feel about sammy opening the bowling.

This guy Dhawan is not letting Sehwag's absence being felt, as he is doing exactly what Viru used to do. Slaughtering the bowlers from the word go

I hope sachin plays a good inning all those farewell matches kinda results in okaish inning.

I was hoping to see him bat on Saturday but seems like this is not going to happen.

A lead of 150 should be decisive here.

Meanwhile Dhawan is murdering Best.

India 64/0 in 11 overs

Is this a T20 ??? how is the wicket ???

Was a big turn and bounce wicket. when WI batted nobody looked settled. I myself am so astonished to see the score here. And here is a wicket :out
