How could a 12 year old boy "mistakenly" cross the LOC ? I thought the border was secured enough that even special force of Pak wouldn't be able to enter ? what the heck are we doing ?

^ it means there is no real fence or security at the border.

So easy for militants to cross over to India.

What was a 12 year old boy doing near the border ? Pak Army let a 12 year old wander through them and cross through the border ?

Things are much more complicated then people here think. Some posts of Pak army are few meters behind small villages which are right next to LOC. A lot of villagers have migrated but few still live there. This boy is lucky that he was not shot on sight as that is what indian forces normally do if someone crosses LOC.

So the military posts are behind villages ? I thought villages would be behind the military posts ? Let me get it right, so in some areas there is a barbed wire fence, with villages on both sides, followed by posts that are behind villages ? is it much more easier to cross these borders than they make it out to be ?

yes it is in only those areas which are not feasible for establishing posts . At some points, Indian side of LOC is relatively higher in altitude and there are also places where Pakistan side of LOC is relatively higher. Both armies refrain to establish posts where they are strategically at disadvantage. - See more at: http://www.pakpassion.net/ppforum/s...advertently-crossing-LoC#sthash.4K8ZjsgP.dpuf

Poor boy. I don't know what those cruel Indian soldiers will do to him.

Anyone who has seen the movie "Ramchand Pakistani" knows that the entire LoC/Border isn't covered with fences or anything.
