The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) on Tuesday rejected India's objection to the display of Pakistan's new political map which was clearly visible in the background during Dr Moeed Yusuf's participation in a meeting that took place a day earlier.

The SCO held its online meeting of National Security Advisors and rejected India's claim. India - which is being represented by Ajit Doval - had raised an objection against Pakistan on the display of the political map by falsely claiming that the new map showed ‘sovereign Indian territories’ as part of Pakistan.

Pakistan responded that India, under international law, had no legal rights to claim the internationally recognised disputed territory of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IIOJ&K) as part of India.

Furthermore, Islamabad rejected New Delhi's assertions that the newly released map included any part of Indian territory.

Referring to India's illegal actions in IIOJ&K, Pakistan informed the SCO secretariat that India is violating the UN Charter and United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions.

Doval has confused himself with the US.

Unfortunately for India, it does not command the same power.

So much for the notorious loser who claimed Pakistan was isolated and struggling to fight for influence and for its voice to be heard internationally in comparison to India

India and Pakistan needs to stop fighting over this changes in maps by one another. Seriously would a change in MAP change the fact Indian Kashmir is under Pakistani control ? NO... Such waste of time....

SCO basically does what China (Pakistan’s boss) tells them to do. Our boss will not humiliate us as long as it needs us.

But Pakistan’s status and influence should have been clear to us after the way Imran Khan was embarrassed over the Kashmir issue.

In spite of his bombastic UNGA speech and constant tweets and pleas, he failed to gather support for the Pakistani narrative on Kashmir.

Even Saudi Arabia and UAE rubbished our narrative and supported India, and then we do ummah ummah.

Ofcourse SCO would reject this. The S in it stands for Shanghai for god's sake.

Anyways , all these token gestures of drawing maps and rejecting them won't matter much in reality.
