Want KKR to lose so the DD/RCB game doesn't turn into a quarter-final for RCB. Come on RCB! Hoping for another Kohli special!
 
I want both RCB and DD in playoffs. They are my 2 favourite teams in this IPL. Hope KKR lose and DD win so that both RCB and DD qualify.
 
RCB is in a bit of dilemma. If KKR wins it may well assure a chance to finish at Top 2 (provided they beat DD of course). If KKR loses, they are pretty much assured a spot in the playoffs unless they lose to DD by a big-big margin which is very unlikely.

Finishing at Top 2 would be relatively an easy ride for RCB (even though they face SRH) because they are playing at Bangalore and if they win that they will remain at Bangalore to play the finals!
 
On the other hand MI is hoping SRH to beat KKR & RCB to beat DD with a huge-huger-hugest margin because that is the only they have any chance of qualifying!
 
Hope RCB goes through and Mumbai Indians go out. Wouldn't mind if KKR are stay in or if they go out
 
This is an ego battle between Shakib and the Fizz.

Shakib has been the best Bangladeshi player for years and one young guy has come and overthrown him in months:shakib

Also Fizz is a better spinner than Shakib and he knows it
 
SRH and GL will take the first 2 spots and TBH they both deserve it. Watching the game with a bunch of hyderabadis here. Love their biryani but can't stand their team

KKR forgot that Shakib is not a finisher and more of a middle order batsman. And as expected he fails slogging

But I think this is a winning total. Once Warner fizzes out they won't get anywhere near on this slow wicket

Funnily enough, non-Indian first team players who probably faced him for the first time have played him well, much better than Indian team and other internationals - Gambhir, Sarfaraz, Baby, Pant and today Pandey played him pretty well too.
 
KKR's innings reminds of Mumbai's yesterday. Had a good start and 3 wickets fell all of a sudden and then a very good partnership and just when everyone thought they would score close to 200, failed to do so and ended with a score of around 170. Mother of coincidence.


KKR fans must be praying the result will be otherwise.

I don't think anyone has been able or will ever be able to read his cutters because there is no appreciable change in arm action.

If anything, the batsman are not premeditating. They are waiting for the seam up delivery which on these wickets are easy to play

Sure. But it's so slow that batsmen have the time to adjust to his cutters. If he was express 150+ pace he would be deadly for sure

I think to the contrary. In the past, batsmen used to play his balls for a seam up delivery but will suddenly be bamboozled by a cutter. But now (in this IPL) the batsmen who have played him well are waiting for his cutters and playing as if every ball is a cutter. Because he bowls a lot of cutters (probably in 60-70% range in this tournament), they are able to be better prepared and play him well. Even if it's a seam up delivery, it's not going to cause much problems to the batsman unless it's a yorker like the one Russell got out.

Today Pandey was clearly playing with an angled bat against him and was waiting for his cutters.
 
Shikhar finally delivering. Kkr needs to kick out shakib. The guy is well past his expiry date. For an international player, he has been subpar for a while
 
Nee to get going.. Ojha played a bad innings. Should've hit out when Dhawan was batting..

He has been bowling fewer cutters these days so I am not sure that applies. Infact he has not bowled his sub 120kph delivery yet. Most of his cutters were bowled between 125-135.

He has been bowling a lot of cutters in the 120-130 range in this tourney.

Off-form? Yes. Not sure you can say he is past your expiry date when all he has done is play 20 over cricket ONLY in the last 6 months
 
KKR seem to be winning this. So, it'll be a knockout between RCB & DD for the playoff spot

In ODIs, he is a very good player but in T20s he is not a very good player due to his limited hitting ability.

Let's see what he does today.

I am not really sure of that, not that i keep checking the speed everytime. But what i really meant was the has bowled very few of his slower cutter which just doesn't come onto the bat.

Yh in odis I don't think he's ovverated at all he has the power players around him. In t20s maybe he's not that great
 
You didn't need to be a genius to say SRH was losing this. Their team is over dependant of Bhuv, Fizz and Warner
 
Williamson in T20s as an opener is fine but he is not a batsman after the 10 overs.
 
Disgraceful pitch. KKR and SRH will be playing the eliminator in Delhi. All the overhyped spinners will be taken to task.
 
I am trying really hard to figure out what is special about Henriques, he has played 14 consecutive matches for SRH. He is like Jadeja of India, atleast Jadeja is a top fielder

He is an allrounder. T20s are all about allrounders.
