Interesting Tweets and Instagram posts by cricketers

I think Malik speaks the best English in the team along with Misbah and Wahab (Aitchisonian). Shehzad, Amin and to a lesser extent Azhar are fine too.

Afridi and Younis speak too fast because of nervousness.

The way he conducts himself on Twitter is the main reason for that. He always gives good-natured replies, and that is where Shehzad has fallen short. Malik would have never responded to Ijaz Butt in that way, for example. He knows exactly what to do that will keep everyone happy. Diplomacy galore. He is excellent at it. Doesn't talk any rubbish about 'haters', which comes off as a bit childish.
Even Maliks tweets are more professional and come across as someone who knows how to conduct himself. They are just very polished.

I know that there is a 140 character limit but even the some of Shehzads (and most of the team really) tweets are cringeworthy. Grammar, English etc etc are terrible.

It's not that hard really. How hard is to construct readable tweets honestly.

Don't know why these guys don't realise it

Have you heard Shaan Masood?

I thought this was quite funny. The Proteas reacting to our rugby team scoring during the QF at the Rugby World Cup.

Malik is certainly classy on social media, even that exchange with Boycott exemplifies that, on the other hand, someone like Shezhad would have probably insulted Boycott.

All what it takes to make you different from others is your Attitude. Shahzad and Akmal jr. may take the leaf out of Malik's book, never been the fan of Malik though but his umpteenth birth has been awesome so far, Masha Allah

Yup, Shehzad would probably have said something like i have more twitter followers than Boycott so he has no right to criticize me.

Top class stuff by Malik. If someone attacks Shehzad's ODI average and SR he'll be all over him along with Shehzadians.

Well we got a glimpse of it already during the World Cup, when he favorited a tweet that called Wasim and Rambo stupid because they criticized his technique.

I agree with the above observations. That is a very correct diplomatic way to deal with criticism but some people need to understand that Shehzad is a different individual. Each one of the people have their own personality. While Malik exhibits high emotional intelligence as he has good self regulation (on twitter at least) someone like shehzad doesnt and is haughty.

Malik is such a decent and humble professional. It was just not good watching him struggle over last 5 years. Glad he is back

Gotta say that's excellent from Malik regarding the Boycott reply, good to see.

Something the young and arrogant Shehzad should learn from. He always seems to be very angry when someone questions his attitude/batting and thinks he's accomplished a lot.

Rather embarrassing to say the least.

You need brain to survive in competition sport, talent alone won't cut it nowadays. Unfortunately, the talent alone is what youngsters take for granted.

Unfortunately Shezhad doesn't really have much talent either.

No doubt about it, he posts on other Facebook pages as well regarding other sport.

Unfortunately Shezhad doesn't really have much talent either.

Actually he does. He just refuses to work harder like Umar Akmal. Arrogant gets in their way. Misbah is limited cricketer, yet he survived so far due to his application of shots very carefully in accordingly to the situation which requires brain-activity.

Someone give Younis Khan and Big Saf twitter accounts already.

So he has another avenue to complain about being dropped from ODIs? :yk2

Yes. Should be very entertaining.

"I only have 1000 followers? Is this the way to treat a legend? Afridi is not as big a player as me, I should be competing with Ronaldo on twitter, not Shoaib Malik. The PCB needs to ensure that my twitter following rises or they can find another #4 batsman in tests."

Actually he does. He just refuses to work harder like Umar Akmal. Arrogant gets in their way. Misbah is limited cricketer, yet he survived so far due to his application of shots very carefully in accordingly to the situation which requires brain-activity.

He isn't that talented.

Akmal is not talented. To be talented you need to be mentally sharp. Also you could learn to play various shots by adjusting your stance and bit of technique according to situation there isnt any magical talent in playing every shot. Imo even what Abd plays might require lots of hard work.

Man this shehzad is such a little joke off the field. The truth about shehzadians is of you observe closely theres only a few hundred who keep posting so it looks like theres thousands. I wonder what their reaction will be when he fails in the t20 world cup and is replaced by babar in odis. Already theres better players than him on the test bench and i wonder what his future is when haris gets fit. Comes of as such an immature kid off the fielh
