Lol, this thread never fails to bring a smile to my face. Kaptaan Misbah dressed the part for his twitter-joining ceremony.

I have never used Twitter, but am seriously considering signing up now that The King has an account.

Just a reminder, do NOT post:

1. Non-Player Tweets
2. Tweets from non-verified accounts
3. Tweets which contain references to other accounts of non-players
4. Tweets with any pictures etc that would be inappropriate

We will come down very hard on posters who do not follow these simple rules.

This - a reminder once again for the people who missed it.

though selfies were unprofessional?

Who triggered this whole twitter revolution? Apparently various Pakistani cricketers - plus Waqar - started to establish new- or varify their current Twitter accounts. :13:

Even on the current ones the postings/tweets and whole organizations seems more professional, than it was before - for example Irfan.

It's a good way for them to interact with fans and even get input. The obvious bad is if they behave like Umar Akmal or Shehzad, but I don't think there are many in the team that would behave like that.

Agree. In this regard, it was necessary considering the importance and usage of Social Media nowadays, to gain some foothold in this terrain, due to the reasons you mentioned. Hope that Umar and Shehzad start to follow the same path in voicing and expressing themselves, as some of their fellow teammates do now recently or did from the beginning, which I although highly doubt.

love that jersey, simple yet it suits us. Wasim's yorker to Lehmann that series was epic as hell. Everyone was chanting his name iirc, and then bam straight in the blockhole.

Not a fan of buying jerseys, but if I find this one won't hesitate to purchase.

I find the over use/choice of emoticons (used) by most of our cricketers cheap... Only Mohammad Irfan's tweets are balanced... Looks like the most sensible person in our team judging by his tweets lol...

Shehzadians, Afridians, Hafeezians, Imadians are the flavor of Pakistani twitter.

Every time I get bored, I go to these accounts and enjoy the interesting comments that are present here.

It was during one of those awful all star games where ganguly was bowling with a hat on. Then he took off the hat after a few balls and he had this wonderful hairstyle. I was in tears :)))

Lol, Dada is the pace man. I can't forget during the 03 world cup, when each player had an intro video, Dada's video before he came onto bowl showed him introducing himself as a "right arm fast bowler":)))

There was this test match recently where Dada, Bhogle and Dravid were commentating. Dravid was literally sledging the hell out of Dada, making fun of his bowling. Was fantastic banter that:))

What is going on here. :moyo

Lol Shehzad has deleted that tweet :))

He's pretty much sitting in his lap. Shehzad, Fawad and Anwar Ali are Afridi's chamchays.

Fawad was dropped by Afridi right before the WC 2011 for Asad Shafiq and Younus Khan. Not sure if he's a chamcha or has a mild nature, when he even does not even hate YK for taking his place, twice !
