It is funny in that case that Ehsan Adil's twitter is verified while Azhar's isn't. Shouldn't PCB circulate a list of official facebook and twitter accounts for the ordinary people.

He would have to ask twitter to verify it. It is not a difficult process. Just have to take a picture of yourself with the twitter handle written on a piece of paper. Afterwards, they probably call you or something.

PCB should. However, PCB has just recently started becoming professional itself during Najam's and SK's era. So, it would take time.

He is the ODI captain and it is good to see that his follower count has started to increase. Followed him when he had like a thousand followers - now it is up to 70K. That stance on Amir has made him famous.

Who are the top 3 in terms of followers from Pakistani team? I reckon the top would be SAfridi?

Shoaib Malik - 627K

Ahmed Shehzad - 550K

Shahid Afridi - 498K

The ones that I know. Others have less followers I think.

It actually really isn't as simple as that.

Firstly, no one can ask for their account to be verified. Twitter doesn't function like that. People think that's how it's done, so they send in tonnes of requests to Twitter.

https://support.twitter.com/groups/...tures/articles/119135-about-verified-accounts
Twitter verifies accounts on an ongoing basis to make it easier for users to find who they're looking for. We concentrate on highly sought users in music, acting, fashion, government, politics, religion, journalism, media, sports, business and other key interest areas. We are constantly updating our requirements for verification. Note, verification does not factor in follower count or Tweet count.

We do not accept requests for verification from the general public. If you fall under one of the above categories and your Twitter account meets our qualifications for verification, we may contact you in the future.

The main reason why the likes of Misbah and Azhar aren't verified is probably because their accounts are relatively new. Adil has been on Twitter since a long time. All in good time.

Two legends

Wasim has most

Thats alot to do with most Pakistani's not using Twitter as their primary social media application. Otherwise no one tops Afridi. Wasim has the highest because of his global appeal. It would be a 50:50 of Indian and Pakistani fans for him.

MashAllah, Congrats Jammy.

I think the only players that are yet to become fathers are Junaid, Riaz (Is he even married?), Amir and Shehzad. Not sure if Yasir has kids yet. Hopefully this means that we won't have too many issues this year when these guys are let loose in England, New Zealand and Australia.

The Karachi King kits remind me of Arsenal kits. The similarity being the amount of tightness.
