And so the game draws to a tame conclusion with West Indies claiming an impressive victory by 43 runs. A solid, if unspectacular performance there by West Indies and they will no doubt want to build on the foundation laid today. Probably a fair pitch in the greater scheme of things. There was something in it for the bowlers especially in terms of swing, seam and spin. These two teams were fairly evenly matched so it was tough to predict the outcome. That being said West Indies proved to be the stronger in the end and snatched victory.
