I'm not sure what happened with your thought process. It needs a reset.

At this point, it is an established fact that PCB and BCB will violate signed contracts for flimsy unrelated reason as a matter of leverage to get what they want.

While every one like to get what they want, upholding contracts stands at the core of any business.

If any private entity knows that an individual or group a has history violating contracts, they have every right to avoid doing business with them.

Naseem and SSA or Babar withdrawal at the last minute in 2024, and the organizations providing NOC namely PCB and BCB has recently demonstrated that they will not honor signed contracts.

No you dont not in the UK, if you are discriminating on basis of your bias, the law and the judges dont actually interpret it that way. Read up UK Equality Act 2010 and UK judgements on it and the 9 protected categories, the law is quite clear on it.

No one forced you to invest your millions, however you chose to do the investment in the UK, you will have to follow the laws of the land.

From my time in the US, when I was in a position to recruit individuals, we were specifically briefed by legal that religion, race, and nationality could not be grounds for non- selection. Foreign citizens, if they had legal work permits, were included in this. The Civil Rights Act and the Immigration Act were cited but it was a long time ago.

Of course you had to be able to prove discrimination which was very difficult. So just because someone says it’s discrimination isn’t enough, you need to show it.

This law is unenforceable. This isn't denying someone the right to employment. This is forcing an Employer to put transfer fees out for someone they don't want. Does that happen in English Football transfers ?

I don't think the Franchise owners should have this mindset of not wanting Pakistani cricketers but if they have made up their mind, which court is going to stop them ? They can justify it on the basis of various things lke team fitment etc etc.

If the franchise owners give cricketing justifications for not picking Pakistani players, Is there still a gun to their head asking them to bid and pay huge transfer fees for those players? That equivalence doesn’t hold. England has the right to enforce its laws in its land.

So if their national policy dictates that Russians cannot play, it’s EXACTLY as India not allowing Pakistanis to playing the IPL.

If one is wrong, so is the other

The argument is about a foreign third party (IPL owners) enforcing THEIR (India’s) country’s policies in England.

All that said, proving that there is discrimination by IPL owners will not be straight forward.
