Yep I guess if you wanted to look at the bright side (and you really have to look hard), at least this screw up has come before the major tournament. If you want to look at the realistic side of things, Pak has been humiliated and confidence shattered just before a major tournament.

Why is he in the team when shahzad is sitting home is a riddle to me.

It's because this plague called Farhat was given his millionth chance against SA and made an ugly 90, which despite the fact that it took him 12 years of his career to make, secured his position in the side for another few tournaments. Pathetic selections to be honest.
