Clueless guys like Wasim should never be cricket pundits. Was he really a Pakistan captain? No wonder he could not win that 99 world cup with such a great team he had.

You don't replace a mediocre cricketer/captain with Imran khan or Miandad. You just replace them with someone who is better than them and in Sarfrazs case half of the dressing room is better than him including Imad, Hafeez and Malik. Babar is king comparing to sarfraz. Wasim bhai just wants to live peacefully in Karachi and win some goodwill

I have stayed away from this thread because, although I have criticised Sarfraz, I have always hoped he can improve and become a better captain, especially in tests. It is clear now that is not happening. He is too immature, too irresponsible and his personal performances do not allow him a place in the side, let alone as captain.

In terms of Akram's comments, one does not need to be a great captain to replace Sarfraz. We only really require someone with a modicum of common sense and professionalism.
