I have stayed away from this thread because, although I have criticised Sarfraz, I have always hoped he can improve and become a better captain, especially in tests. It is clear now that is not happening. He is too immature, too irresponsible and his personal performances do not allow him a place in the side, let alone as captain.
In terms of Akram's comments, one does not need to be a great captain to replace Sarfraz. We only really require someone with a modicum of common sense and professionalism.
