As far i know, Rameez and King Viv has given him some tips, they told him to play with patience and don't try to hit harder towards leg side. Judge the ball, your shots are good just execute them properly, play cover and straight shots too along with leg. But key thing is play with patience.

And today it seems Umar has worked on their advises.

And i feel to most extent Misbah has destroyed his career by not playing him in Tests so he can develop himself.
