Fakhar seemed to have tissue against the short ball. Sami and Irfan made him hop around.

Not good signs for an opener. Still better than shezzy who slashed a wide delivery (as usual).

One more wicket and Misbah knows he is into the tail thats why he is bowling his main bowlers right now
 
Irfan needs to be kicked out of all formats. Nothing bowler. Amir, Hassan, Wahab, Yamin should be our ODI pace attack

Like both Shadab Khan and Fakhar Zaman...Fakhar was so much better than Shahzad on the wicket.
 
Younis is the best player of spin in the world so nothing to be ashamed of for the young leggie
 
Misbah has fetish for old guys, today he is playing average but 33 old Imran Khalid and not young Zafar :facepalm: - Zafar could have being played in England series ahead of Zulfi, who is just holding one end, Yasir is only attacking spinner... Why Zafar or Asghar cannot do that??

After retirement, Misbah will start Pakistan Senior Cricketers association...There are not enough 35+ years old guys in national team and we demand equal representation... No wonder not a single youngsters developed under him... I hope next administration goes back to the investment in the youth

I like misbah but you are right in the regard that he has hots for old and experienced. He hardly goes for young ones in favor of old ones.

Hasan Ali is probably exhausted from the KPK tourney, would play him above all of Federal's bowlers, should be the first name on the card.
 
Younis Khan clearly wants younger players to play ahead of more seasoned players..Zia and Rameez ahead of Rahat and Naved Yasin..

Whatever you call Yuni bhai, he always gives a chance to youngsters. Debuted a 17 year old Amir who won us the T20 WC.


In contrast hardly a youngster had his debut during Misbah's reign.
 
Why do all teams have such thin batting line ups?? After 2 or 3 wickets all the batsmen seem like tailenders.

Even 5 teams is too much for Pakistan domestic, we should have just two teams if we want only the best to play, the rest are only mildly better than gully mohallah level..
 
Oh Yk played 5 specialist bowlers.. that is such a 90s strategy of ODI cricket and will never work in this era :facepalm:

2? We dont have enough good ODI batsmen for 2 teams.
 
So 27 people have batted in this tournament (barring the two at the crease at the moment) and only 1 of them has scored a 50 and that too a guy who is retired from this format and was absolutely atrocious in international cricket.

Doesn't speak well for our ODI future

Completely agreed... I like or maybe liked Misbah but his love for TTFs isn't ending

Misbah is the most defensive captain I have ever seen and lack of vision. How come he selected Irfan & Sami and Sami ahead of Hasan and Gohar?
