I just like everyone else is heartbroken and in shock I woke up 5:30 am in the morning to watch this and start work at 8:30 Pakistan was bowled out before I even got properly ready.

What we saw was just shocking full credit to the West Indies, the sad thing was that the players coming in to bat at the end just tried to slog it.....you had 30 overs to play with...you can easily play very slowly and try to build a some what respectful score which maybe you can defend. At the same time the more runs you have on bird the better it is for your net run rate, if your tied in the group stage this might make the difference.

Anyways Pakistan might end up losing the rest of their games or maybe win a couple or maybe even make the semis but the performance we saw today it can't get worse than this surley it can't.

I still back the green and support them but the team needs to take a good look at them self and remember who thier playing for and what thier playing for.

But, that team had few genuine match winners, and very tough characters. It went on to win the WC without 2 of the best players and the contemporary best batsman (Salim Malik) failing completely through out the WC. THE MAIN REASON - that team had a CAPTAIN in charge, who'll lead from the front.

If PAK has to do anything better against Lankans (Pom game is gone - no hope realistically), Sarfraz has to pull his socks and lead like a man, otherwise I am afraid squad will get disintegrated further.

In 1992 we had a Team loaded with 'Street fighter' stars including Akram, Miandad, Sohail, Rameez, Saleem Malik and we still lost 4 of our first 5 games.
There's a long way to go and I believe we will eventually come out of this tournament with some credibility.

Pakistan is definitely not as bad as they looked today. They can compete. In the other losses they had they just didn't know how to win the crucial moments of a game. Also middle order doesn't look exactly world class. It is almost like you get top 3, you can set off another collapse.
