Valid question. My guess would be that because the match is reduced by the D/L method so the formulation allowed is slightly different than it would have been if the match would have been planned as 5 overs match.
 
The standard of fielding in this tournament is even worse than the PSL.

Worse than National T20 cup I think or matching that as of now. PSL's was probably not as good as it was last year but still was somewhat acceptable.

Early in the tournament so hopefully it can improve

The guy just seems to be playing for the money and fame.

Wants to build schools and hospitals in Pak.

He wants as much as he can and will carry on playing such leagues even HK sixes.

Afridi doesn't need money. He has enough. And even if he is playing he is doing good. If he was a liability on his team I would get you. But he is actually carrying this team.

Everyone needs money..he's still carrying on as this team and league is mediocre just their first year so give it time.

He is performing because of the quality of this league being what it is otherwise he wouldn't because 8 months in the year he's not playing any cricket.

Azam khan has the hitting nature but the guy’s timing has been so poor in this tournament so far.

Still take him over Mohammad Rizwan

He is a timer of the ball. Not a Slogger. This situation demanded slogging. And Mister better than both couldn't put away a spinner that wasn't even turning it. Can't believe they let him bowl a 1 run over in that game

Was cheering for gladiators since owner is Pakistani but they have been horrible I am a fan of Afridi but he is not a good captain

Jaffna stallions have been a bit of shock to me but they have been playing really good cricket hopefully they can continue

I hope Galle can turn it around

Honestly speaking

The Pakistanis have been absolutely impact less in this tournament so far. They have done nothing of note for their respective franchises. Complete let downs with the Bat, ball and in the field. The Poor Sri Lankan players have looked up to them to provide crucial match winning performances in crucial times and our boys have not delivered at all.

Shocking. Very sad to see this.
 
Mohammad Amir has been worse for Galle than Pat Cummins was for KKR. These are unacceptable performances by an international pro who has two ICC gold titles to his credentials!

As I write, Shoaib Malik could not finish the game needing 3 to win off 6 and is out after scoring 1. This is called "PAID HOLIDAY PERFORMANCE".

This is like an associate premier league. Sri lanka has to invest in more money to bring more players. How will the local players improve ? I only see the same sri lankan players, i dont see any new talents getting a chance. Looks more like Srilanka- has been Pakistan-Zimbabwe-Afghanistan-with country rejects XL team. This is very bad and looks inferior.

It’s probably Supply & Demand issue. Too many Pakistani players are available for hire but not many Indian players are available for overseas T20 circuses. Irfan probably was planning a Lankan holiday anyway so decided to fund his vacation.
