"Kuldeep Yadav can challenge Yasir Shah to become the best leg-spinner in the world" : Shane Warne

Although I like what I saw in Kuldeep, he seems a very smart and tricky bowler but with just a handful of matches under his belt and only 1 test at home...he is already much better than Yasir; you gotta love these Indian fans lol

This is true for every new bowler/batsman that comes from India, they automatcially become the best ever over any/all bowlers Pak has ever produced!

And on the other end we have Amir who's stats are basically the same as Ishant Sharma's and yet he's a GOAT.

I guess we all have our biases.

amir test average 31 ishant 35

amir odi average 29 ishant 30

amir t20 average 20 ishant 50

My point exactly. Amir's stats are only marginally better than Ishant Sharma's in ODIs and Tests. So how much do you rate Ishant?

Yeah I know his T20 record is good. So being good in T20s and being marginally better than Ishant Sharma in the other format demands so much hype? Really?

who ever said he is GOAT are delusional .he is more than decent for us and well above ishant .he should

continuous his hard work to improve further

Yea Amir is decent. But on PP he is hyped to be world class which he is not.

Mohammad Shami has much better Stats than him in Tests and ODIs but you will heat people saying Pakistan pace attack is far ahead of India. Then Bumrah has stats which are nearly equal to Hasan Ali and Bumrah is ranked number one in ODIs but Pakistan attack is for unknown reasons far ahead.

both india and pakistan have very close competition of fast bowlers . i reserve my judgement till

asia cup where we will see who perform better though india have world class spinner in kuldeep who is

better

Most people here think Amir is an ATG. Yes of course he's better than Sharma but he gets hyped up too much around here. Someone like Trent Boult, imo has lived up to his promise far more than Amir or Starc (I know Starc's stats are great but I can't rate a player who is so injury prone that he is warming the benches more often than not.

Speak for yourself, there are tons of people who like Aamir a lot but are mindful that he has failed to live up to his potential!

Stop pulling things out of thin air, care to show how you figured that 'Most' people here consider him ATG?

We can sit here all day bouncing back numbers and long diatribes to which nation has the better bowlers.

The fact of the matter is that players are judged by two separate categories, statistics and impact.

While two players can have similar statistics, their impact on the game’s result can be entirely different.

As far as the OP, I believe Kuldeep will be world-class in T20’s but I will reserve my judgement until he completes in more ODI’s, particularly tournaments.

I do not think he will be a Tier 1 Test bowler in the mould of Jadeja because he has a novelty factor of being a LAC. As soon as teams begin to decipher him, he will lose his wicket-taking ability and conspire to becoming an economical option outside Asia.

However, since he relies on the more traditional aspects of spin such as flight, spin, and guile rather than variation, bounce, and speed, there is no reason he cannot become a valuable commodity for India in Test cricket.

Refer back to any of the several threads after Pakistan's CT victory and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. I sure did.

^^^Since you labelled the Pak fans as doing such, why don't you also show the proof as well, why do I have to go dig it out? Till than you have been rightly called guilty of pulling things out of thin air!

He was pre-banned, was the best bowler which was acknowledged by every capable cricketer and he was again in champions trophy. India had and will probably never produced that Pre-banned Amir. I guess that realization make most to resort to make up facts.

He isn’t the same bowler he was before he got banned and if you and your fellow compadre is having hard time to figure that out then I suggest you to go through Amir related threads. Enjoy.

He's good and will have a long career for India. Chahal is bang average though and will probably find himself out of the India in a few months time
