This is one of the most inept displays of batting against conventional leg-spin in a long while. Unfortunately, there are no quality wrist-spinners in South African domestic cricket for their young batsmen to cope with a serviceable spinner such as Qadir. Pakistan is on top from first session of first test , and it will remain so. The reason is SA is rubbish team , and this is very polite term I have used. They are bad in batting , bowling and fielding. SA need to get their thinking cap on before they are hammered by Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

Like I said, Rauf needs the field spread thin. He’s very serviceable (by that I mean better than our other options like Hasnain) in the latter middle overs and the death. Very bad powerplay bowler - should have given those overs to Shaheen.
