Maoist attack kills 15 security personnel, civilian in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli

At least 16 persons, including 15 security personnel, were killed in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast triggered by Maoists in Maharashtra’s Gadchiroli district on May 1, police said.

The blast followed the Maoists torching 25 vehicles belonging to a road construction contractor earlier in the day, police said.

Those killed were members of the Quick Response Team (QRT) of Gadchiroli Police, which was on its way to inspect the torched vehicles, an official said.

The blast took place as the vehicle reached Lendhari nallah in Kurkheda area, the official said.

Police teams are reaching the spot for evacuation operation, he said.

Problem is most Maoists are Tribals who have taken up arms to protect their land. At least it was that back in Andhra Pradesh. You cannot talk rubbish about Tribals as the issue can be very sensitive and they form close to 12% of the entire population. A huge vote bank.

These Maoists and their sympathizers Communist parties are the biggest internal threat to the country.

Both are wrong. Every community has grievances. But if taking up arms is the solution, the entire country will look like Wild West.

Anyone who decides to take up arms to fight should not whine when they get shot in the process of combat.

Just tell me one thing where is the outrage? When Pulwama happened we kashmiris were attacked from every corner of india but mo one is talking about this maoist attack leave alone outrage.

Not necessarily Hindus. Many are Christians too. Hindus or Muslims or Christians, they are tribals first.
