If we had Umar Akmal, Haris Sohail or ANY OTHER 2 specialist batsmen in the squad after that no show on Friday we could have drafted them in and made amendments.

I would also like to say that the selection committee overall is the problem. But since this thread is about the "match" I believe that out top order is the real culprit. Mainly the top 3 (Nasir, Farhat, and Hafeez). Doesnt matter how good the bowling is they are always score at 4 runs a over for the first 10. There has never been a instance where Pakistan is getting off to fliers with them at the helm.

Only if we can just solidify the batting.

Misbah, Whatmore and Iqbal to be blamed for the two losses

Though Misbah has played two good knocks so far he should not escape the critsizm. He is the captain of the team and when the team is doing well he will get the credit but when the team loses he has to take his share of the blame as well.
He has his say in the selection and backing the tried and tested failures like Farhat, Malik and Kamran was a big mistake.

And how much time will you give Whatmore?

Iqbal Qasim should be fired right away. They did send Haris Sohail to India and SA when he was unfit, and when he actually was fit they sent players like Malik and Farhat and even Hafeez is a rubbish player as he never deliveres with bat when you need him most.
What is the need for experience when it cant help you in preassure situations.

Would have been better to send young players like Shehzad, Umar, Haris and Sohaib. And even if he had lost with them it would not have hurt this much.

Selection of Playing XI - Rahman should have played instead of Amin or Harris. YOU CAN NOT play 7 batsmen in an ODI XI... and struggle to find another bowlers if one of the bowler has an off day. India used to played 7 batsmen in Gnaguly (or Dravid) days... their part timers always got tonked... plus 7th batsman almost never did anything special....simply because if your six batsmen can't score, 7th WILL NOT. We were one bowler short.
