They say here on PP that IPL is the easiest platform for batsmen and the scores here don't count! But I wonder if Kohli feels "IPL" is his toughest platform to score runs compared to "Tests", "ODI" & "T20I"...
 
T20s are becoming too predictable - most teams opt to bowl first and often wins as well.
 
First game against CSK in Chennai and it has put a huge full stop to RCB in the very beginning of the tournament! Its better to forfeit the tournament just now!

Wow what a review from a LBW to catch. Watching IPL after so long never realised how bad RCB are.
 
So many people turned up for CSK's practice match against minnows. Real IPL starts from tomorrow.
 
Unfortunately these Dhoni-Thala magic is restricted to IPL/CSK now! He can do no wonders to current Indian Team!
 
This pitch is right up Dhoni's alley. No captain history can match Dhoni on pitches that help spinners.

Kohli relies on Dhoni's captaincy. So he is going to stay whether we like it or not. kohli is clueless in fast limited over games

Post worldcup the selection committe just needs to show some balls and sack kohli as odi captain and give it to rohit. Sadly won't happen with the bunch of nincompoops who are part of the committee.
 
Half the stadium is empty and blocked off. They need to do something about the those 3 pavilions. It has already been built. Just let them use it.

Why does this RCB team always lose? They have a pretty good team and although batting is obviously their strength, the bowling isn't bad.
 
Easy win for my boys CSK. RCB have serious issues . Let's see what they do this season. Coulter Nile could make a difference imo.

The three stands in Chepauk have been under legal issues since their construction. The High Court in Madras put a stay on the use of those stands as TNCA altered with the assessment report for those stands. In fact, a criminal case was also issued against TNCA by the High Court in 2013.

The main reason for the tussle is the gymnasium of the Madras Cricket Club (MCC) adjoining the stands. In 2015, the Supreme Court ordered the demolition of parts of the stands and asked the TNCA to send out the plan to the Chennai Municipal Corporation. Though the TNCA agreed, they are yet to get the necessary permission from the state’s Heritage Committee to start the process.This is why you will always see those stands empty during all the games that take place in the stadium.
 
Enjoy if you are watching it. I never do so at all, these T20 competitions are just not for me. I didn't even know it had started!:virat

IS Anyone watching IPL live on Hotstar, in USA? THe stream is awful and the audio is horrible. This isn’t my first time using Hotstar and not impressed.

I am watching on hotstar in india. It is not up to usual decent quality. I think they are using new compression method on stream. Its consuming lesser data but quality is ****.
 
Willow’s Stream is always really good and this year they decided to partner with Hotstar for IPL. Oh well.
 
I switched over to PAk V Aussie game on willow and the stream was really good and it was much quieter than IPL game, no constant buzzing.

WOW, what a catch! Needed that kind of fielding to get rid of warner who was playing a wonderful knock.

He is a mediocre LoI's player, i don't think his batting will really decide whether aussies do well at WC or not. Warner or on the other hand is really important to aussies in worlcup.

Seems a good match. Woke up just to witness Dre destruction of Bhuvi.

Shakib Al Hasan is back in the very first game in IPL. Seems his injury always heals quicker whenever theres a T20 league around the corner.

I do. Quality is excellent. Better than last year. Make sure your internet download speed is not the bottleneck.

I wouldnt call it excellent. Its decent, better than Willow. Excellent quality is usually ESPN streaming.
 
Pant is the currently the second best talent from asia (after babar) and he is a wk which makes it more special.

Why does Pant always beats up Mumbai? Have we offended him somehow?

Losing matches to Delhi is really really shameful. No greater shame in IPL. :((

Special knock from Pant yesterday. Immense pressure he is in right now to make his way in the world cup squad. I am glad to see him taking the challenge head on.

If he can do this for MIB he definitely must go to CWC.
