Naseem Shah: The gem we don’t deserve

At least could have played a game

But our coach can't keep loverboys out of playing 11

Naseem Shah can bowl upto 140s

Can swing the ball both ways, can bowl Yorker, bumper, slower ball

Has great cricketing awareness

With the bat too he can slog and give stand to the set batsman.

Gives 💯 in the field.

Why is this guy not in every X1 for Pak (when he is fit). He should be the permanent No.8 in all 3 formats à la Pat Cummins.

Frankly for the last year and so Performances of Shaheen and Naseem are not up to the mark in the format.

Only Rauf has good performance.
Rauf is not as bad as he is made out to be but one thing for sure, in every important match for Pak, he usually sticks out like a sore thumb. To some extent Shaheen too but he at least has some match turning performances .

While Naseem can be expensive and also lose the plot, he still seems to come back and end up with decent returns.

Rauf is a luxury pacer. Management doesn't know how to use him.

Naseem has been awful in ODI and Test format since his injury comeback. He does decent on T20s still as he relies on his change ups now. But the old Naseem that we saw in WT20 2022 with that beautiful outswing balls at 145 clicks, is gone.

I think Shaheen and Rauf are condition specific bowlers who are more likely to succeed in SENA conditions but have still not mastered the art of bending their backs on Asian wickets…

Naseem has that quality of being a “all condition” bowler but prefers to bowl defensively to avoid getting hammered rather than going for wicket taking balls. In helpful conditions he is more lethal then Shaheen and Rauf

Didn’t have the physique or the attitude of an express pacer. A lovely lad whom we all love to support.

Not the pace bowler we need but the one we deserve- brave Batman esque take down of the Pakistani corrupt via Twitter post as well.

Wasnt the tweet pulled down within a minute or so..not a very useful hack from whoever it was

Even if he is lying. Everyone has a right to have an opinion in democracy.

Trump is considered the most powerful person in the world by many. The Americans are absolutely free to say whatever they want to say about him without any fear. Not even a fan of American politics but that's how you build a country where people take ownership.

In Pak this is considered blasphemy and anti state.

It seems Naseem is a politically awake person.

Imran 2.0?

After watching how the people of Pakistan have been silent bystanders to Imran's plight, I wouldn't touch politics with a ten foot pole if I was Naseem Shah.

People did take to the streets for a day. Army handled them harshly and that was that.

All the revolutionaries who actually made Pakistan happen were Bengalis. Western ones were Zamindars and meek peasants. So they don't have the jigra needed for the fight.

For me test performances are most important, his bowling average of 35 and strike rate 57 don’t look pretty. In what sense is he a gem exactly. Don’t think his fitness or lack of it will allow him to be a regular in red ball. 🥱

When he first started, he was good. He got a hat-trick too I believe.

He declined in recent times.

Also, he is a short guy and that is a disadvantage for a pacer.

His fitness issues started too early in his career and he never prioritised red ball cricket either. One would think his 35+ bowling average would be because of the dead wickets in pak but NO, his bowling average in helpful SENA conditions is in 80s and 90s so even worse.

You really think you need an agenda to criticize someone who averages 35? Really?

And then we wonder why Pak cricket is in the gutter currently.

LOL at resilience and courage🤣

The Queen of Botox and fraudulent letters is anything but resilient or courageous.
It's actually pathetic that social media handler of the ruling political party has to settle a score with a 23 year old out of form pacer who's currently out of favor for a mere tweet.
