People generally migrate to other countries so they can have a better way of life. Which already leaves a very small number of countries that are even worse off economically, socially and politically than Pakistan. Out of those countries, only Afghanistan and Zimbabwe play cricket, and only Afghanistan has shown that they have a decent pipeline of talent. And Afghans hate Pakistanis guts. The resentment is very deep-seated and largely with good reason.

I have no doubt that Pakistan will continue producing great talent. And I also have no doubt that the system will keep finding new ways to squander, ruin and screw that talent.
