New Zealand defeat Pakistan by 9 wickets in 2nd T20I to take an unassailable 2-0 lead

Pakistan have lost the plot. Didn't bowled Imad in the powrrplay. Can't bowl Wahab again. Only 2 overs left of Rauf. And Spinners are way off atm
 
This guy Seifert hits it really sweet and very twisty for a Kiwi batsman. If he can improve his defence, a gun player for LO cricket.
 
The players that got us to top t20 rankings are no where to be found. I think alarm bells should ring for Waqar and Misbah.

We don’t have any talent unlike the countries you mentioned. We cannot produce a WK who is also an explosive batsman.

Rizwan is the best we have got. He is incredible with the gloves.
 
I've never been in favour of Wahab continuing to get picked, he's never fixed his main issue of inconsistency. It's no use getting the odd match winning performance when he bottles it the rest of the time.
 
I dont think Seifert is that good as hes being made out to be. He just got served pies by Wahab is all.

This should be Wahabs last game for Pakistan. He is only good enough against minnows
 
Everyone going after Wahab, but they won’t say anything about how Misbah has protected Musa and Husnain.

Misbah knows if those 2 get smashed after his decisions on leaving out Amir, it will put even more pressure on his role.
 
The t20 series is gone. The players lost the plot. First the inexperienced batsmen just got stunned by the conditions and then wahab lost the plot by bowling the second ball short after having beaten in him with the first one. It's as if the batsmen was able to predict what he was gonna bowl next. Don't expect that from an experienced player. That's where amir was smart to be honest.
 
Lol. Hafeez was just praising imad and shadab when he was being interviewed on the field
 
If Pakistan team want their fans back at home to watch them bat they shouldn't opt to bat first in Test Matches. Batting innings will be over before everyone wakes up

Amir will.not add anything to this team. Players always look better when they are not in the team.

No problem with him being picked for any of those teams except Pakistan lol
 
Bring in Imam into this T20 team we need some stability. He can open with Babar when he returns. Can't keep discriminating that he's slow, he scores consistently in domestic T20s and PSL. At least he's shown he can play international quality attacks, which I think some of these players are incapable of.

Might be a good idea to bring Hafeez back in ODIs. I get if we go with Haider and Abdullah (even Khushadil) instead and back them to be good. But if we're playing older guys like Fakhar and Iftikhar, I really am not sure they'd outperform Hafeez right now.

Amir clearly should be playing. We need someone to open with Shaheen. And Faheem back in the side, probably just to try and plug the hole from Amir leaving.

The whole situation seems a mess right now. I was willing to give Misbah a chance now he's appointed but it seems to be going horribly and might be worth trying to find someone else now.

Our entire T20 side is carried by Babar, Hafeez and Shaheen. When any of them are injured (Babar) or having an off day (Shaheen), we can be beaten by Zimbabwe
 
The younger players did not know how to deal with the conditions. I will not write them off but they do need to learn to play sena conditions. They got badly exposed here and hopefully learn from it

Talk about taking two steps backwards.
 
It's obvious the coaching staff did not prepare the younger guys for these pitches. Didn't tell them things that worked in Pakistan won't work here. They took this for granted.
 
Saw whatever you want but, Fakhar is the best opener we have in t20s. Look at his stats from the 2018 series, where we won 2-1.
 
Completely outplayed once again. Well done Pakistan think tank. Next time please carry 99 players on the airplane whenever there is an overseas tour.

All this drama after the Covid tests saga. Shouldve just packed your bags and came back to Pakistan after vacationing in NZ.
 
We keep hyping hacks. Trying to hit every ball for a 6 is more appreciated than a player which tries to take singles and doubles, and puts the bad balls away. Pakistan cricket is doomed, our domestic sifarish has cost us a lot. We have not developed any player apart from Babar (who has immense talent), who can play at the highest level of cricket. 200 million people and this is the best we can field?
