The reason the last Test match ended up in a draw wasn't because Pakistan survived but it was because NZ batted very poorly. They should've easily had a 250 run lead or so in the overs they batted but batted really slow on the 4th day.

They aren't going to make the same mistake twice. Pakistan have a rubbish bowling attack led by an extremely rubbish spinner in Abrar who I immediately discarded even though he got 11 on debut. It was clear as daylight that it was nothing but beginners luck. I wouldn't expect his Test career to last beyond 10 matches unless Pakistan decides to keep flogging a dead horse.

Everything is a joke. Afridi is CS but he’s overseeing 11th pitch preparation. Babar has everything on auto with zero innovation or aggressiveness. They’ve got a 24 year old spinner who is going to end up bowling 70-80 overs and will require his fingers to be amputated after the match. I heard Afridi talking to the media about how our spinners’ fingers will be shot if we continue down this path but lo and behold here we are again.

Nauman has been useless frankly, so worth trying a different strategy. Perhaps they could had played Sajid in place of Hasan or Hamza. Either way result was likely to be the same on this graveyard.

PCB prepare docile pitches in domestic also , no help for spinners or quick bowlers. PCB needs to address this issue in the domestic level first.
