He has scored runs all over. Sehwag has failed in lot of ODIs in India as well.
If India is flat track why is Punter averages 20? For AUstralians australian, english, SA pitches are flat tracks. Similar conditions.

Still one more time cannot bring yourself to even acknowledge he is not as good in England, South Africa, New Zealand.....just bring something else into the discussion to avoid it. Same old story with you blokes.

Rain comes with four balls to go for a result, keep raining!!! Go rain!!

Of course. But I can admit Aussie player is FTB without it hurting my precious national pride and insecurity. Those averages are actually better then Sehwag's but will any Indian crew ever admit he is definition of FTB? Of course not.

It would be interesting to see how many players in world cricket have a better average in seaming bouncy tracks than flat tracks.

Anybody got stats?

Ponting 42.63 in England, 61.07 in South Africa and 97.66 in NZ.

Tendulkar 62 England, 39.76 in South Africa and 42 in New Zealand.

Younis Khan 52 in England, 33.88 in South Africa and 70 in New Zealand.

These three, which are the only 3 I looked up have far superior records in those countries? I wonder can any Indian crew actually agree with this without qualifying?

I imagine not.

Fair enough RA.You need to include the averages in OZ also.I am sure Laxman & Dravid should be up there

He has carefully excluded Australia. :P . The length he goes to show Indian batsmen in poor light is extraordinary.

Ohh leave him alone its not his fault that the Bunny sucks when the going gets real tough :P...

Ya.. that is why i stopped with one line wind up. :P. Certain things you don't need to explain.

Anyway stupid topics like this pop up and spoil match thread.

Amazing batting by Sehwag.

Source Cricinfo:
It has stopped raining now. S Rajesh, our stats guru says, if three overs have been lost due to rain now, the target would be 197, which India have already achieved. Oh well. Let's wait and see what happens

Seems like we will go straight to the presentation

How the heck they came up with a target of 197? Ridiculous. India has not lost any wicket. How they deducted only 84 for 23 over loss.

My god target would be 197 now? lol Thank god they had scored 4 runs more.
Target would have been 197, if only 3 overs were last..If the match had been stopped...it would have been much less.
So, don't get excited..

I love flat track bullies.

I love it even more when on field bullies are humbled.

Smith says.. this is the highest first wicket partnership in history to win a game? Is it while chasing? no idea. gotta check.

fastest century by an Indian . Surprisingly it took 21 years for some one to break Azza's record

Few came close. Sehwag himself came close once against NZ. 70 ball 100.

in this form and with small grounds, he might get a hundred before lunch in the test series.

As Vettori finely put "Good old fashioned hiding" for NZ. I thought it would be more difficult for India as NZ rarely loses at home.
