Hafeez must be kicking himself. Unlucky to miss out on this pitch.

How hard was it getting study visa, they are idiots in Pakistan bloody useless whole system government no such thing as rules, regulations, service or anything.

I've struggled to get my wife's visa its been over a year, they refused twice took the mick and finally they have accepted after my 2nd appeal and Insha-Allah they have now accepted to grant her settlement visa, just the formalities left but they have put me through so much hassle over the year.

My brothers wife actually got her visa granted pretty fast,I think in 4 months or so.

NZ bowlers applying pressure here, 22nd over of the innings.

How long ago was this coz they just keep getting stricter... Well at first they refused her visa coz they wern't happy with enough evidence and thought my marriage was a sham even though we explained to them under Islamic law you don't communicate much or support your wife until after marriage but then down the line in the court case they mucked us around alot, too much actually coz of the stupid system we found out on the day of my court case that when we appealed on that ground they had accepted but failed to send us the letter of acceptance and only the home office rep had it, so i had the case won but then they came up with another refusal about me not being able to support my wife even though i was in full time work so then i had to appeal the 2nd time, and now finally they have accepted. Its jus a case of waiting few more weeks now.

Bit of a shame Taufeeq wasnt persisted with early on, far better than any other opener we have tried in the last 5 year or so, Im sure he would have racked up a fairly impressive record by now if he had been kept in the side.

Hmmm, I think it was in 2010 some time ago. But they are actually getting stricter everyday one of my family friends had to wait for about 2 and a half years and they did the appeal acouple of times aswell. But his wife came to the UK in late november if I remember correctly.

Great stuff from Taufeeq. A good 70 would do wonders for him and the team (100 would be a bonus)

Taufeeq the best opener pakistan has since saeed anwar :shahzaib
i rate him over salman

Flashed away - bit of a misfield but no damage done.

I almost fell of the stairs on my very first day here. the angle was so steep and the stairs were not wide enough .

Alright I was thinking 'what are you talking about?'
They are pretty normal to me, I think probably because you werent used to the stairs then.
