Yeah and that's exactly why DROPPED CATCHES MATTER and even more so when they are dropped off the best opposition batsman
No its just bashing others for the sake of Amir is what gets me... So when I return bash Amir it just becomes blasphemy...

Yeaaaa but he's not pacy yaaar, he's a trundler, he's like Anwar Ali according to MMHS
He's not good looking either like the legend
Double standards everywhere bro, we can keep Rahat for his 2 "jaffas" every innings and drop a guy who;s actually performing. Most of the hate for Imran is from people who have no patience.
Listen to this guy. Criticizes Amir for not generating swing (when he has comfortably moved the ball around more than Imran) yet he praises Imran who hasn't moved the ball an inch for picking up the wicket of a guy who was dropped twice off Amir.
You seriously think there is no difference between five years and five months lack of match practice.
In fact, Amir couldn't even practice in the nets whereas Imran could.

Imran was just lucky to get Raval... only Amir is the one who genuinely gets a wicket, he means every ball he bowls![]()
I think he is definitely better than Anwar Ali.
Also Pak haven't lost in any of the matches he has played, lets see if that changes here.

Yaaaar Amir's spell against England in 2010.. that's enough to get him in the side for next 10 years

You missed again - if, PAK is to go with 4 bowler strategy & Imran to bowl length-line staff slanting across the left-hander at 125KM for "Good economy", then it's better to go with a 4th seemer with similar skills but far, far better batting & fielding skills.
Imran can't do his UAE staff here, in a 4 pacer strategy, on a green top. This wicket won't give PAK the luxury of holding one end & strike from other for a total under 350. What Imran bowled yesterday was club level staff - though his economy might have fooled you. Anwar Ali can do the same, with adding 35 with bat & saving 15 in field.
Nice set up from Wahab.
u guys must be kidding me if you're telling me Amir didn't practice in the nets. He had to be practicing private nets. Oh btw, what's your obsession with amir? IK jr is what Peter Siddle was to Australia and Amir is what Ryan Harris was to Australia. You need both of them in the team, not just one.
He's swinging it miles man, you've seen Anwar Ali swing it at all? He bowls scrambled seam in the second over coz he can't manage new ball swing... don't kid yourself bro seriously..
Wahab should come around the wicket now.
He's not swinging it miles, he's seaming it. There's a difference.
MMHS i fully agree but what you said that is a long term solution, but for now put it this way that we can do with atleast lesser bad option in sami and sharjeel comparison, don't you agree with this? What you make of sami? Is he worth it for his batting alone?
If Azhar and Sami come out batting like cowards again, it'll all be a waste again.

They had a coward captain in Misbah and now we got azhar who is from the same school of thought.
You are exposing your ageAnwar Ali was the biggest swinger of the ball, just about 7 years back - don't know who (God or Lucifer) changed his action, he has lost it. Imran is pitching it up & swinging it, but he bowled rubbish yesterday. That angle staff Anwar can do better.
At least, thanks that you understood the reason why Anwar was suggested as 4th seemer.![]()

It just gets worse doesn't it?
It was probably the most spineless display of batting I've ever seen in my 20+ years watching.
A certain famous someone changed his wrist position at NCA otherwise Anwar Ali was the next Asif-like bowler for sure that too with even more pace(around 140)
You don't need much reflex, neither mobility, but your conversion has to be very good. Some of the best 1st slippers are flat-footed, not much movements, but huge corpse - Fleming, Lloyd, Inzi, Smith (Graeme), Mahela, Tubby, Rahul, Lara, Big Mac - guys with bucket like cups & very good concentration.
My hands aren't that big but I did often stand at first slip in my younger days, I didn't realise you were such an avid fan of the Birmingham Cricket League.

Good pace from Amir. Getting through his action much better.
