Hopefully, we see the usual Sarfraz with his positive intent and trying to put the bowlers off their lines and lengths.

If he gets going, then Azam can also free himself and play his natural game.
 
Sarfraz's last memorable knock was his 96 at Galle. His innings' at Lords were crucial but he cant just afford to get out after playing a cameo.
 
I still think the ball will move around 30-40 overs...

Pakistan picked up 3 wickets in the morning session against NZ from overs 22-40.. so if NZ gets one wicket we are done
 
We've lost too many wickets to actually make a comeback in this game..
 
Both needs to add 60-70 runs and then it will look a lot better.
 
Hoping Babar plays well here

And then some other players can worry about being in the playing xo
 
They look comfortable out there but it will count for nothing if they don't stay on the wicket.
 
Sarfraz playing like he wants to get out. It's one thing to be aggressive, another to be reckless.
 
We would have good chance to make a come back if we had lost 3 wickets at most, now with the worst tail it's all about this wicket and it's game over, yesterday in other two tests we saw how important it is to have a strong lower order and tail which can actually bat, yesterday starc innings may prove to be the match winning, this 4 specialist bowlers who are no.11s with the bat can take you so for unless they are atg bowlers and the 7 batsman are very very good, and we know thats not the case and it's almost impossible formula for even the best teams, so unless we have some good and utility all rounders we are bound to struggle away from those UAE roads.
 
Sarfaraz has been given two reprieves, NZ has basically made up for Raval's dropped chances
 
If Babar gets a 50, it will be the first by a Pakistani in this series.. thats shocking man we've been so bad on this tour
 
I am surprised NZ is not simply just bowling short bowls to Babar after that last game.

He is playing pretty well though. Showing solid defense and putting away the mistakes.
 
Love this counter attack approach by pak, kiwis look total surprised, so are we, but sarfraz is over doing it, and is bound to fail sooner than later. Calm down for goodness sake.
 
Wow Sarfraz playing really aggressively. Need this partnership to at least get to 200 to give the team a chance.
 
Loving it. NZ is bowling all over the place here. 40 more minutes of this and match may look much better.

Yah, he is the best short ball bowler from NZ so if you are going to bowl non-stop short then it has to be Wagner.
 
Had Rizwan batted with little sense , pakistan would have been in much stronger position.
 
NZ lost two chances today so no one else to blame here.

Babar hasn't scored in a while, getting a bit bogged down.
 
Babar has looked the best batsmen on show from both sides. Would be amazing if he goes on to get a ton insha'Allah!
 
Pitch is very good to bat here. Just need to not do anything stupid and runs will keep coming.
 
Babar is a much improved player since the WI tour he's finally shown the temperament to score big!
 
Putting Babar in the team was a good decision by Arthur. This time next year he will have had enough games to have gotten use to and understand test cricket and he won't even be close to his peak.
