Sir Hadlee is an automatic selection in any list of the top 10 greatest fast bowlers and Broad has thread comparisons with Gul... that should settle the debate. :hadlee

Hope Jimmy gets hi fiver today. He stands at 292 wickets and he should have crossed the 300 mark by the end of this series.

NZ should declare within next 10/ 15 overs with lead around 300 unless they get bowled out.

Barbie eager to get his 100, 4 runs short. What a shot by Mccullum for six

what that nick knight who just said jimmy was '....one of the best, if not the best bowler in the world'? what a plank.

I wouldn't really mind Kiwis batting another 30-40 minutes here. That would allow to England to start only after the early juice in the pitch has dried out :yk

What juice lol? The only juice if at all is with the new ball. Besides, 167 all out was mostly your lot's fault though we did bowl well.

Almost every pitch in the world is at its furious best for the first hour in the morning. On average, more runs are scored late morning and post lunch session as the pitch tends to calm down by then

Well, chaps, we may not last the afternoon.

Compton's gotta be the worst England opener in a long time, look pants compared to Strauss and Tresco before him.

This is gonna get uglier than Ryan Sidebottom's gran.

I predict a loss by an innings and 100 runs

If we save this game then Ali Cook's left armpit will have been raised at least 300 times

Lol James trying the anti-jinx here. Don't try hard mate you still got opportunity. Weather Gods may make their presence known :(

Not jinxing, actually think we will get boofed

This seems like a completely different Kiwi side to the one that toured here. Credit to them for turning it around so quickly after the mess they were in.

Lots of teams seem to be able to miraculously rouse themeselves when playing against England these days :ajmal

Yea it's not the same side, No taylor, rutherford and southee.

Some beauties being bowled by Boult and Southee, it won't be long before a wicket falls.
