India hitting the stumps when they don't need to but have now missed three, three!!! Run out chances.
 
You win the toss, bowl first and then you bring spinners in first 12 overs and that too on a really fast pitch? Great captaincy...

If he is fit enough to play,then he should be fit enough to bowl a few long spells..
He is not bowling at 150 k,he is between 140-145,he could have continued for a few more overs.

This is whats wrong with Indian fans. Ask any Pakistani, they would tell its a good move. Playing an international match after 2 years coming back from an injury....he needs to be preserved for few matches. He s no instant coffee machine to chuck out fast deliveries every ball.

Choking the kiwis with spin lol boy Kiwis really suck at playing spin if they can't do it on their own pitch they will never do it.
 
Agree with commies NZ strategy is questionable Tuk Tuk till 35th over then go berserk in the last 15 it's too risky these big hitters will eventually have a off day then NZ are done for :Ishant
 
Can Ashwin look anymore unthreatening it's like he's not even trying when he's bowling

He will get match fit only when he bowls long spells,it builds endurance.
 
India will struggle on this fast pitch.

I doubt if India can even cross 200 against NZ bowling. They are going to extract a lot of bounce and pace from this pitch.

It's hard and bouncy but not a Perth at all but the ground is really small Indians should restrict NZ to under 300 then they got a real chance
 
Pathetic from Indian bowlers again.

On this pitch which is helping bowlers, they managed only 1 wicket in almost 30 overs :facepalm:

Expect NZ to score over 320 and then bundle out Nohit and other FTB's for less than 230.
 
Williamson good knock hope he goes on to get a ton he's a very good young batsman
 
why can't india just play 2 pacers , BK and Zaheer with harbajan as a 3rd spinner. harbajan can bowl much better than all these pacers and can bat too.
 
Varun Aaron's pace has dropped in his second spell definitely needs to work on his stamina
 
Tv channel put up a list of MS Dhonis batting averages. I wonder what they would be if you showed only tests outside the flat subcontinent.
 
320 is a par score on this ground. Good pitch and small boundaries should be a close game.
 
This pitch is fast,don't get fooled by crappy indian bowling,kohli is our only hope on this pitch.
Need another special one from him today.
 
Expect Nohit to make it look like an unplayable pitch.

The sooner India drops this guy to middle order, the better it is for India.

Cannot have a guy eating up 5 overs to score his 5 runs when chasing huge scores.

In both matches, had Nohit not eaten all those deliveries, India would have chased the totals.
 
Indian bowlers getting carted around this pitch looks Like a beauty for batting
 
This pitch is a belter With a 35m boundary Kohli in supreme touch NZ need 350 to be safe
