New Zealand vs Pakistan | 2nd ODI | Saxton Oval | Jan 9, 2018 | Pakistan Innings

Classic tuk tuk batting...

block block six/four block block

If you want an understanding of Pakistan’s defensive mindset listen to what Waqar is saying

This is something I wrote in last match - DWL doesn't consider the gap in Kiwi attack after 12 overs. Had that match lasted full distance, despite 40-5, PAK would have made it close; but not close enough to cover W'son's drop.

Bhai can you wait 30 seconds before posting this...:danish

I never understood what is the purpose of posting 1...4...6

We all are watching the match no need to turn this into scorecard

Way too many dots against spinners, that too by our best players of spin...

It will be a big score. Once later on the runs will come very fast. The lower order can score quickly and whatever the flaws of Hafeez and Malik they know how to cash in when they are very set.

As I said after the first game, this New Zealand attack is pretty mediocre minus Southee and Boult. If we don't get a 300 score against this bowling then no hope.

I will bet a 1000 dollars that Hafeez has no idea that the rules of the game have changed

Any attack with Akhtar, McGrath and Murli is not mediocre by any sense of the imagination.

Bets on both of these getting out as soon as they get to their fifties

kiwis missing a trick by not playing Sodhi and Henry, both quality bowlers

in 1st 20 over, 8 four 2 sixes plus 7 extra runs, total 51, but only 28 single, only if they had 28 more single pak would be at 107 /3 after 20, that's is the biggest culprit, lack of single where as most casual fans would think lack of bounderies, MMHS agrree?

Knew Malik was going to go for a big shot and get out the moment Latham shouted 'Pitch it up boy' to Astle.

Not many ppl notice but Malik’s game against spin in top teams has also deteriorated

Our 7 and 8 batters are far more capable than our 4 and 5 batters. Thats clearly an issue with the makeup of the team and yet Sarfraz and Mickey do nothing about it.

This is what happens when you block block block and then look for big shout... get lost. I hope Hafeez gets out soon too. I'd take a 5-0 if it gets rid of filth like Azhar, Malik and Hafeez.

Question to some of the fans that predicted we would win the series 4-1. Honestly where does the optimism come from?

I think, early wickets are not helping. Singles come when 2 set batsmen are in middle.

Before every series I see some wile predictions. Even before the Aussie tour some predicted we would beat them in their backyard

This is what over a decade of experience amounts to. A hard fought 26 against the mighty kiwis.

Sarf's acid test today - he has 25+ overs to bat, and a set batsman at other end.

That is why you need to rotate strike. Put pressure on the bowler not yourself but the style that the middle order like to play is dots and then boundary. I have to say India rotate strike really well and they seem to effortlessly score runs in ODIs

Hafeez again negating his goood work: scores boundary and then keeps blocking

50 for the Legend Hafeez coming soon, along with a one year free ride.

Nice straight four by Hafeez, century on the card, redemption for 2011 World Cup semi final

look at that belly of Sarfraz...looks like some pehlwan on cricket field..

but still 28 single in 20 overs are justified? pak was 3 down not 6 down that they were just surviving MMHS
