New Zealand vs Pakistan | 4th ODI | Hamilton | Jan 16, 2018 | Pakistan Innings

Tremendous fifty for Haris, considering he came in on 2-11. Can he now be consider apart of the starting Line-up?

They need to score quickly, because it'll going to rain, and Pakistan might not have overs to score quick runs.

Seedhi seedhi ahrahi hai aur khel aisay rahay hain jaisay day 5 pitch hai aur Murali kara raha hai

Airtight guys, we're on the verge of going below 4 RPO at the 30th over on a flat track

Welcome to 2018!

I hope I can see Haris at 2 down accross all formats and yes if he wanna rest ask him to do so in T20s.

How can a captain, coach or selector cant judge just by looking that Sohail or for that matter few other batsmen that are more solid number 2 in almost all conditions then Hafeez. It took current management years to realize it.

You replace one dud with another and then another

How exactly is Harris an improvement in the middle order as compared to Babar, Malik and Hafeez?

For god sake Haris. You got yourself in dammit. Malik will come in and will begin tuk tuk with his BFF:misbah

Haris should have played it straight rather he wanted to flaunt his talent by playing inside out

The Pakistani batsmen have zero desire to learn. They waste balls like millionaires thinking that the 80 they score in the last ten overs is worth the cowardly innings upfront

Learning curve has an exponential correlation with age - do you think 1 year intake by 40+ Hafeez should have same output for 1 year of 25 year's Hasan Ali?

Haris can play for 20 overs atleast in most of the considitions around the world. Thats a big improvement then being 4 down inside 10

It was a decent knock given the circumstances, but I wouldn't call it a tremendous innings. He batted at SR of 67 on a flat track

Score a 50 off 70-off balls, job done, get out in a silly way... this is poor from Pakistan. They did so well to recover from 2-down for 10 only to throw it away. Credit to New Zealand though for drying up the runs and creating pressure.

Hamilton - 16 January, 2018: "Imam Ul-Haq reported having excessive swelling and stiffness of his left index finger late last night. It did not resolve after being treated. This morning he still present with some stiffness and discomfort which prevented him from being able to fully grip his bat. He has been advised to rest for it to settle without being further aggravated and should make a speedy recovery in the next day or two", said Pakistan Team Physiotherapist, Vib Singh.

the innings has ground to halt basically. time to start from scratch.

Yes you should pick players who have more potential to realize then someone who is currently at same level or even a bit better

There is no spark in Pakistani players, lazy body language, seems they can't wait this tour to be over. I hope Hafeez, Malik never play from Pakistan ever again.

The reason I said tremendous was due to the fact he hadn't played ODI cricket for some time and it was great to see him perform

Next man in is Saifi with a batting average of 5 since CT..... museebat ati hai tou charoon taraf se ati hai

Should sound crazy, but I feel PAK players are happy with a 50 because in QeA style, a 50 is match winner - that hunger doesn't develop. From school level, Indian kids start to put individual innings like 343, 450, 551, 575 ..... One round of Ranji produces more double centuries than entire QeA season - how these batsmen can keep focus to reach 170?

70 ball 50 is par for the course in pakistan cricket.

You should pick players before 23 & give them 2 years, instead of carrying 38 years old zombies.

they both were set
and knowning that what follows after em they shouldve taken more responsblity i guess.

the reason why we dont progress is because the guys who throw it away after 50 are considered to be better than guys who try to score briskly and fail

Now i dont feel like slating Shoaib Malik, although i wanted to give him hell today

PSL has done world of good in this regard. In upcomming season we are gonna see some real exciting young talent

I hope he is okay. No matter how much we might want him out of the team, no one should get hit like that.

Pakistan should do fair play and play 8 dot balls to make up for those cheap 4 runs....

There is a medical name of that spot - just below the skull where the spinal cords joins with brain; one of the most vulnerable spot of body.

someone should be using this time to tell hafeez to not come back to the team hotel if he plans to continue to bat at his current zenith.

I don't think so it hurt Shoaib much, ball ricochet and went to boundary, it means ball had force to travel to boundary.

Hafeez perfect situation and 12 off 23 with one 4.

Muhammad Hafeez has the unique talent of picking out the same fielder for six out of six balls in an over.

Once again Saify should have come in at 5... he would have done better than Malik and Hafeez

Why boundary is not being crossed against Williamson

Brain stem. He was hit on the back of the head, which is protected by skull. Hopefully he is okay and doesnt develop a hemorrhage or a hematoma(collectecion of blood within a space). Should be sent for a CT scan.

Time for Malik to say his goodbye.... he was pretty ethical in retiring from Tests... hope he leaves ODIs soon too
