Hamilton - 16 January, 2018: "Imam Ul-Haq reported having excessive swelling and stiffness of his left index finger late last night. It did not resolve after being treated. This morning he still present with some stiffness and discomfort which prevented him from being able to fully grip his bat. He has been advised to rest for it to settle without being further aggravated and should make a speedy recovery in the next day or two", said Pakistan Team Physiotherapist, Vib Singh.

Some of the selection of this tour has been quite appalling. Azhar ali despite 2 poor outings given a chance in 3rd game while Imam only got 1 game, how unfair this is with a youngster, So far i am disappointed with sarfraz ahmed, he has not helped his own cause by playing hafeez who cant bowl, Azhar coming back from an injury with little match practice under his belt.

Pakistan biggest problem has been that they are relying on seniors too much, but infact both hafeez and malik are average cricketers yet both are playing non stop and considering their previous performances than both failed in CT.

Pakistan need to get more batsmen in the team rather than bowlers, we have good attack who can win you series but not good enough batsmen to give us that chance.

Why not send open with fahim ashraf and play amir yamin. I think Pakistan think tank are failing to understand that fahim can be a real deal in the First 10 overs of PP.

They could try Hasan Ali , shadab and Amir yamin as pinch hitters. Faheem should be invested in.. he has improved his bowling too.
