I am very confused.

In Bangalore it was a number of low intensity blasts that looked like designed to cause fear and disruption.

Ahmedabad had te real thing with deaths and carnage.

Now Surat and a number of other places have Bombs of various types that were apparetly not intended to explode.

Are they all by the same group. Not sure what the message or the intent is.

In India, secularism is nothing but Hindu bashing, ridiculing HIndu belief systems and mocking Indian culture. Congress and the commie turds are the main villains.. outright evil and sinister... they just hate us man... but BJP is an oppurtunistic hooliganish party that says it understands the sentiments of Indian middle class, while stabbing them from the back.

In Andhra, Congress govt diverts funds from all Hindu temples to spread Christianity.. that too openly... if you question them, you are no longer secular and shouted down in the media... In Tamil Nadu, govt abuses Hindu belief systems and gods, in the name of "secularism" but praises only Islam and Xtianity. In Kerala, people are ashamed to say they are hindus or else they get targetted by communist "intelligentsia" (though I dont understand how one can be a filthy commie and still "intelligent").

All over India, we Hindus get a raw deal from the media.. Indian civilization and history is trivialized by the english media... everything related to Hindus is taught to be despised in our text books.

And if anyone dares challenge these things - he is called an RSS stooge.. screw them and their stupid, kindergarten logic.. I can completely understand what you are saying. BJP/Sena/VHP/RSS have had a very poor record when dealing with our Indian Muslims (I want a Hindu nationalist party in power...but one that is inclusive of all religions).

But try looking at it from our point of view - 8 major blasts since the Congress took power and now the Ahemdabad and Bangalore incidents. When BJP was in power, there were never any such incidents. Yes, we did have the Kandahar incident and the Parliament attack. But if you may recall, the BJP mobilized the entire army in response to the latter. No appropriate measures have been taken by the Congress to fight this menace.

In such a hopeless situation, what are we to do?

I see why many independent minded educated people are planning to vote for BJP, but that is not gonna help IMHO, coz they are also weak and not good at solving the problem of terrorism..

An Indian court on Friday sentenced 38 Muslim men to death and ordered life in prison for 11 others for a series of bomb blasts in 2008 in the city of Ahmedabad that killed more than 50 people, lawyers said.

The explosions had badly shaken the western state of Gujarat, where Hindu-Muslim riots in 2002 are believed to have killed thousands, mostly Muslims.

A group called the "Indian Mujahideen" had claimed responsibility for the blasts on July 26, 2008.

Judge A.R. Patel ordered the punishment after the prosecution pressed for the death sentence describing the incident as a "rarest of rare case" in which innocent lives were lost.

A defence lawyer said they would appeal the verdict in a higher court.

"We had sought lenient sentences for the convicts as they have already spent more than 13 years in prison," Khalid Shaikh told Reuters.
