Don't think so. They were shot out for 73 by Srilanka in their own backyard. I think if shoaib akhtar plays and NZ faces pakistan i guarantee they won't cross a total of 75. They are afraid fast swining yorkers. Malinga is another guy who would rip them apart.

Closer perusal of the scorecard reveals the following:

Extras
Australia 27
NZ 5

Of those extras, 16 were byes - four deliveries from Tait which Haddin missed and ended up on the long stop boundary fence. Then another 10 were wides.

There's the match right there. Absolutely woeful bowling, and some ordinary wicketkeeping (though you can't blame Haddin too much as Tait, true to form, was all over the place with his line and length bowling at 155kmh).
