I think lot of people actually talk non sense about his age, look at any of his current picture and do your really think he looks 30 or something rather than 25??? Nor did he look 20 when he came onto the scene.
He is 26 or 27 at MAX( i doubt it though, he is 25 ).

If I show you one of couzin's pictur you'll be telling me he's at least 30. Infact he's only 20. His British born. His chest his bigger than Haydens. Imran Qadir though the same thing. He can easly walk into county cricket.

The main point is built won't really tell you age. Some people are really bigger lookings

Afridi definetely didnt look older than 18 on his debut. He was certainly a teenager, so hes in his mid-late 20s for sure. Not older than 27. And if Tendulkar can be 32 after playing 16 years, why cant Afridi be 25 after playing 8.5 years
 
he is 27 max. I don't see what is so unbelievable about his age to be honest. Rana on the other hand, is not 27. 27?

Many happy returns of the day. May the beast keep getting hungrier, mightier, and stronger with every passing day. Thanks for all the memories.

I wanted to attach a picture of Shahid bhai, a couple of my friends and I in Kuwait. This was taken at the residence of the Pakistani ambassador to Kuwait in 1998, where we were invited to have lunch with the visiting Pakistani team. Any suggestions? It says the file size is 131.4 kb, which is too large.

Did I mention I played in the Kuwait under 19 team against the visiting Pakistani team ? :D I was just happy to bowl to Shadab Kabir...Sadly, my fellow team mate uprooted Shahid bhai's off stump in the very first over. But Inzi bhai smashed the rest of us all over the place. :31:

We've had this discussion before :28:

Maybe when Afridi burst on to the scene at the age of 16, he didn't look like a 16 year old because of his size and build. But anyone who reckon's he isn't 26 now is just ignorant. He still looks very young, and it's just his beard which makes him look older.

Look at the clean shaven Afridi, the one in the Javed Miandad Pepsi advert, he still looks like a kid in that advert. If he didn't have a beard now he'd basically look the same.
 
I dont really mind what his real age is as long as he can play for Pakistan with distiction for many years to come.
 
I agree the beard makes him look older but how knows how old he is, I just wishes he will clean shave once, you'll see how old he looks then, I remembe r back in the Uner 19 world cup alot of the West Indies players where kicked out because they where over 19........... fake ages lol, don't remember the year.
